Too intricate, surely? A delightful move by Chelsea and Fran Kirby is involved again.

She plays a ball into Hannah Blundell who was right in the area for some reason, but the return pass catches out Kirby and the ball drifts away.

    That looked so promising.

A 'Mexican wave' has been circling Wembley for what feels like about eight or nine minutes. The crowd are certainly enjoying themselves, even if neither goalkeeper has had much to do just yet.

Arsenal are just edging it for me, Chelsea have had a couple of opportunities but Arsenal look good particularly in the wide areas, but it's such a close game so far.

Great skills by Chelsea's Ramona Bachmann on the right. Her trickery comes to nothing, apart from maybe livening up the crowd a tad.

Hannah Blundell then works her way to the byline, but dinks her cross behind for a goal kick.

Fran Kirby has a shot straight at Arsenal keeper Sari Van Veenendaal.

The Gunners cannot afford to let Kirby have so much freedom. The attempts on goal won't all be so easy to save.

Drew Spence took a knock in the build-up to that strike but appears to be okay after rolling around on the floor for a few moments.

Emma Mitchell was lucky to get away with that. Looked like a yellow card all day long for a tug on Ramona Bachmann.

The free-kick comes to nothing, Millie Bright unable to leap high enough at the far post.

This time Chelsea make a better first of clearing their lines and spring forward where Ramona Bachmann eventually wins a free-kick.

Some unconvincing defender by Chelsea there and Arsenal keep the pressure on.

They continue to look dangerous out wide and a Kim Little is flicked away for a corner.

More dubious defending ends with Arsenal winning another corner after a shot is deflected wide...

Chelsea are straight up the other end and work the ball to Fran Kirby.

She is looking so lively already, a real pest to the Arsenal defence in the opening stages, but her strike from inside the box is blocked.

Chelsea will need to mark Louise Quinn much tighter than that at set-pieces.

Her header from a corner won Arsenal's semi-final in stoppage time at Everton.

Ambz: Fran Kirby is so scary to play against. You need a training session based solely on defending against her.

Adrian Worton: What an absolutely magical turn from Bachmann - shame the finish didn't match.

A good late run by Louise Quinn sees the Arsenal defender outjump Katie Chapman, but her header is well over.

It looks like Arsenal's attacking ploy is to exploit the space and Beth Mead so nearly gets away on the left after Millie Bright misjudges a bouncing ball.

Chelsea get back and deal with it though. But Arsenal now have a free-kick...

Arsenal enjoy a bit a breather for the first time in a few minutes. But they are forced back and then surrender possession with a hopeful punt over the top.

Gunners boss is Joe Montemurro out on the touchline waving some orders.

Fran Kirby pops up on the left twice in quick succession.

Tenacious work by the England striker, who cannot find a cross on the first occasion and has no one supporting the second time she gets away.

The Blues have settled well after a slow opening five minutes.

A great chance. Ji So Yun finds Ramona Bachmann whose turn on the edge of the box is sumptuous.

But she fires her shot across goal and wide. A really good opportunity that.

Chelsea have so much quality in the middle of the park.

Arsenal will need to get tight on Ji So-Yun. Katie Chapman will be looking to find her midfield partner as much as possible and let the South Korean work her magic.

The duo have a bit of time on the ball and start probing but cannot find a killer pass.

Arsenal threaten again. This time down the right flank through Vivianne Miedema, but her cross is also cleared.

A good start by the Gunners.
