  1. 'Liverpool outnumbered in midfield'published at 18:46 British Summer Time 26 May 2018

Real Madrid v Liverpool (19:45 BST)

    Mark Lawrenson
Former Liverpool defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

In midfield Real are capable of one-touch football. Liverpool haven't come across too many sides who can do that.

Liverpool are already outnumbered, and they can't put the midfield of Real Madrid under pressure, which Klopp would love to do.

  2. Kiev a sea of redpublished at 18:43 British Summer Time 26 May 2018

    Phil McNulty
BBC Sport chief football writer in Kiev

The Liverpool end here in Kiev is a blaze of red with banners and flags bedecking all parts - and thankfully for the players the temperatures have cooled considerably as we move into late evening.

No surprises in Liverpool's starting line-up. Tried and very trusted in the Champions League this season.

Real Madrid are playing the exact same XI that started last year's final against Juventus.

And nine of the XI who started two years ago against Atletico Madrid.

  11. 'Something wrong if players aren't nervous'published at 18:25 British Summer Time 26 May 2018

Real Madrid v Liverpool (19:45 BST)

    Mark Lawrenson
Former Liverpool defender on BBC Radio 5 live

As a player you cannot help but think about the game all day long. When you wake up it is always there in the forefront of your mind. They will all be nervous, and if they aren’t there is something wrong with them. For nearly all of them this is the biggest game of their lives.

I've seen some Spanish journalists say that Gareth Bale will be on the Real Madrid bench today. Which isn't a huge surprise - except that earlier today there had been some talk that he'd start.

No official word on the line-ups yet though, we'll let you know when there is.

Spanish football writer Eduardo Alvarez has given us a fascinating insight into Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos.

After the semi-final win over Bayern, he jumped over the advertisements behind the goal, grabbed the microphone and led the remaining 2,000 fans to sing "Reyes de Europa, somos los Reyes de Europa!" (We're the kings of Europe!), a chant reserved for memorable Champions League victories.
