  2. 'This team don't know how to be beaten'published at 14:38 British Summer Time 12 May 2018

    FT: Scunthorpe 2-2 Rotherham

Scunthorpe United caretaker Nick Daws told Sky Sports:

"I thought it was two very good teams with contrasting styles going at each other for 90 minutes and we showed an immense amount of character to equalise.

"I don't think this team knows how to be beaten and that's not tempting fate. We've grown in confidence over eight games now and we're fearless.

"We weren't at our best today but we had to find another way to get back into the game and Cameron has been threatening that for a few months and he's got his just rewards."

  3. 'I would have taken a point'published at 14:29 British Summer Time 12 May 2018

    FT: Scunthorpe 2-2 Rotherham

Rotherham United midfielder Ryan Williams told Sky Sports:

"Before the game if you'd have given us a point I would have taken it so I'm happy.

"We've played them twice before and it was the same. Hopefully there's more football to be played at our ground. I'll take 2-2 and a draw back to our place.

"I think it's a different game for us at home. In away games we like to defend quite narrow whilst at home we like to be expansive."

    Talk about a goalmouth scramble.

A throw-in comes into the box and somehow about five Rotherham defenders can't seem to clear the ball away and Cameron McGeehan is on hand to tap in from close range, after Michael Ihiekwe gets in the way of keeper Marek Rodak scooping it up.

Not the best afternoon for the Rotherham defender.

6,591 in attendance at Glanford Park this afternoon and a sold out away following have almost seen a cracker of a third goal for their side.

  11. Postpublished at 84 mins

    Scunthorpe 1-2 Rotherham

Almost a defensive mix-up from Scunthorpe, then. Joe Newell is pervasive in his pursuit of the ball as he tries to find a pathway through the box towards goal.

But his efforts are thwarted by the referee as he concedes a free-kick to Scunthorpe defender Murray Wallace.

Now that's what you call an impact sub!
