Good lord, just a minute later and Scunthorpe are back on level terms!

Duane Holmes rushes upfield and chips towards goal. It looks as if it's going wide but somehow, Michael Ihiekwe turns the ball into his own net.

Dear oh dear. Rotherham's lead did not last long.

    Well how about that?

Richard Towell chips the ball over the top towards the onrushing Jon Taylor, who hits a low shot past Scunthorpe keeper Matt Gilks.

    Scunthorpe 0-0 Rotherham

A succession of Rotherham long deliveries into the box are nixed by Scunthorpe, who have done well to keep the visitors pegged back so far.

Matty Palmer then concedes a free-kick after a tough challenge on Josh Morris. It's pretty even as it stands.

Will Vaulks puts a high boot on Ryan Yates and that looks like it hurt.

The Scunthorpe man is quick on his feet, however. Can't say I'd be the same. That was a robust challenge if there ever was one!

Duane Holmes wins the ball on the wing and the Scunthorpe midfielder breaks into the box but some terrific defending by Joshua Emmanuel neutralises the threat.

Both sides have started well so far.

Some nice link up play from Scunthorpe, here. Josh Morris does well to work onto the ball in the box and tees up Duane Holmes who fires goalwards.

Fortunately for Rotherham, Marek Rodak is on hand to save but the hosts press again from the restart and Ivan Toney shouts for a penalty when he tangles with Michael Ihiekwe, but the referee says nothing doing.

    Scunthorpe 0-0 Rotherham

Ryan Williams turns and stylishly beats Jordan Clarke but can't quite make a breakthrough into the Scunthorpe box.

At the other end the Iron win a corner and an unmarked Conor Townsend wins the ball in acres of space before unleashing a shot which is well blocked by Rotherham.

    Scunthorpe 0-0 Rotherham

Rotherham win a corner almost straight from kick-off and it sails into the box but the hosts clear their lines after Will Vaulks heads wide of the mark.

There's a tremendous atmosphere in the ground today.

Rotherham United boss Paul Warne is not letting the pressure of their League One play-off semi-final get the better of him or his side ahead of kick-off.

In fact he's glad that Saturday's game keeps his side in a familiar routine.

"It's nice that the game is on a Saturday so we've just prepared like a normal week, but the lads are aware of what's at stake," Warne told BBC Radio Sheffield.

"We've had some Yorkshire sun on our face and we're in a good place."

    Scunthorpe v Rotherham (12:30 BST)

Some might say that having an extra two days before your play-off semi-final first leg can an advantage, but not Scunthorpe United assistant manager Nick Daws.

"The game couldn't come around quick enough. Everyone is in the same situation but Shrewsbury and Charlton had the luxury of kicking their play-off campaign on Thursday," Daws told BBC Radio Humberside.

"It's good to have time to work with the players but also you have to kill time to an extent because we're raring to go."
