Celtic midfielder Tom Rogic seems to love the big occasion at Hampden. The Australian, fresh from signing a new five-year deal, is teed up by Callum McGregor before sending a low shot whistling narrowly wide.

Motherwell, under Stephen Robinson, are renowned for a high-tempo pressing game and they're snapping at Celtic's heels at every opportunity.

However, they're forced to defend quickly as a lightning Celtic counter almost sees Moussa Dembele in on goal but Well clear their lines.

Celtic are gunning for a double treble; Motherwell their third Scottish Cup triumph - and a first since 1991.

"You get to this stage of the season and there’s no denying the players have that opportunity to put themselves into history and change their lives forever. But it’s important you focus on your performance – if we play well, it gives us a great chance to win.

"Tom Rogic is a very important player for us and is at a really, really good age. He’s only going to improve. He would have had opportunities to go elsewhere but he’s very committed, he loves the club and he knows he can still improve.

"It’s not an easy challenge. Motherwell play a different style to ourselves, but a very honest team and they have threats. We have to combat that and impose ourselves at the same time.

"We need to be ready to press and defend right from the first guy to the goalkeeper."

"Motherwell know how important it is for Celtic. Through the season they look like a team that can battle, a physical team, so it’s not going to be an easy game.

"We talk about Rangers not being in the league, the team not being pushed, but you can only deal with what is put in front of you. Brendan has done a great job, the team has played with flair and won games.

"Rogic will be the key man. He loves scoring at Hampden, so I think he’ll be the main man."

"A double treble would be absolutely massive. It doesn’t matter what era it’s done in – people say the league is weaker than when we did it at Rangers or when Martin O’Neill did it at Celtic – nobody can ever take it away from Celtic or Brendan Rodgers.

"Stephen Robinson has to play the game that has made them very successful. They’ve rattled teams this season. As long as their players keep their cool, play their aggressive game with controlled emotions, Motherwell are capable.

"I’m sure he will put out some kind of technical plan to make Celtic’s power less effective."
