The footballing world just won't be the same if Gianluigi Buffon does retire today.
If only we knew back then what he'd go on to achieve...
Juventus goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon is speaking to the media today at the Allianz Stadium in Turin.
He is expected to announce his retirement at the age of 40 (sad emoji).
He captained Juventus to a seventh straight Serie A title and fourth consecutive Coppa Italia triumph this season.
The Italy legend could make his 640th and final Serie A appearance against Hellas Verona on Sunday.

Realistically, Allardyce was just there to keep Everton up and was never going to get a second season with his tainted reputation. West Ham are deluding themselves again if they think they're going to get a better manager than Moyes who's better off out of there.

But Shakhtar boss Fonseca has been mentioned too, as has Unai Emery, the outgoing Paris St-Germain manager.

Shakhtar Donetsk manager Paulo Fonseca is another man who has been linked with the role at West Ham.
But the Sun says, external the Portuguese has turned the Hammers down.
They also say former Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini is on West Ham's radar.

West Ham are keen to investigate the possibility of approaching Rafael Benitez to become their new manager.
Benitez still has 12 months remaining on his current Newcastle contract.
However, the former Liverpool boss is yet to commit to an extension as he wants guarantees about funding after guiding Newcastle to a 10th place finish in their first season back in the Premier League.
And that could offer West Ham the encouragement needed to make an official approach.

So Moyes and Allardyce have both left their jobs despite steering their clubs clear of the relegation zone and to respectable finishes in the Premier League - West Ham ended the season 13th and Everton eighth.

It was confirmed that David Moyes definitely won't be in charge at the London stadium next term.
"We feel that it is right to move in a different direction. We aim to appoint a high-calibre figure who we feel will lead the club into an exciting future for our loyal supporters within the next 10 days," said co-owner David Sullivan.

There was certainly plenty going on at Everton.
The Merseysiders parted company with Sam Allardyce, and director of football Steve Walsh, before appointing ex-PSV sporting director Marcel Brands to replace Walsh.
That's 24 hours after they appointed a new chief executive, Denise Barrett-Baxendale, as well by the way!
