  1. CLOSE!published at 24 mins

    Arsenal 1-0 PSG

Arsenal are passing the ball nicely in midfield. They break open PSG and release Alex Iwobi down the left.

He has a free sight of goal but Gianluigi Buffon is quick off his line and shields his goal, conceding only a corner.

    He's still got it!

Matteo Guendouzi and Mohamed Elneny look like they're having a "who can sport the biggest amount of hair" competition in the middle.

But the youngster is winning the football contest. He looks so mature and composed on the ball. I've been impressed with him this summer.

    Arsenal 1-0 PSG

This game is so open! This time Arsenal go on the attack and a ball in from the left is aimed towards Mesut Ozil.

It skims just over his head but Henrikh Mkhitaryan almost gets a chance seconds later before he is bundled to the ground. No penalty.

    Arsenal 1-0 PSG

Christopher Nkunku's quick feet almost create an opening for PSG in the box but they remain patient and go back to Kevin Rimane on the edge of the area.

His pass is looking for Stanley N'Soki but the winger is offside.

    Arsenal 1-0 PSG

Bit of inexperience shown by PSG. They look susceptible at the back and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is exploiting that with his pace.

He almost gets a chance in the box but the ball races away from him.

    Mesut Ozil

Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang goes scampering down the right wing. There is so much space and time for him to pick out a team-mate and he does so, with Mesut Ozil waiting hungrily in the middle.

It's an easy tap-in for the German on his return.

The resulting corner is played into Shkodran Mustafi but his glancing header goes wide of the target.

    Arsenal 0-0 PSG

PSG look the stronger team at the moment but Arsenal youngster Matteo Guendouzi eases the pressure by winning a free-kick in the defensive half.

He then charges forward and gets the ball back from Hector Bellerin to win a corner at the other end.

    Arsenal 0-0 PSG

Slick one-touch passing allows Arsenal to bring the ball out from defence under pressure but they falter in midfield when Hector Bellerin's pass goes astray.

PSG forward Azzeddine Toufiqui then has space to shoot outside the box and he does, curling it towards the bottom right-hand corner, but it bounces harmlessly out for a goal-kick.

    Arsenal 0-0 PSG

Sead Kolasinac overlaps down the left and is found by Henrikh Mkhitaryan. But his cross flies way over the heads of Mesut Ozil and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and the chance goes begging.

    Arsenal 0-0 PSG

Alex Iwobi looks up for it. He knocks the ball 10 yards in front of him and challenges Loic Soh to a foot race.

He wins it but then tries to do it again. In the end, he kicks it out for a throw-in. PSG then try to attack at the other end through Adrien Rabiot but his pass to Timothy Weah is cut out by keeper Bernd Leno just in time.

    Arsenal 0-0 PSG

Sead Kolasinac has work to do in the early stages. Alec Georgen gets forward down the right-hand side and the Arsenal full-back has to scamper back into position.

He's too late but the ball played into the box doesn't trouble Arsenal's defence and they get it clear to the halfway line.

We're running a few minutes late. The players have had to pose for photos.

And the referee has just done the toss - but with a credit card?! Looks like Mesut Ozil guessed right, as the card flipped onto a side saying "HEADS".
