It seems a long time ago since Cardiff went 1-0 up. Chelsea with a great reaction since going behind. Willian comes on and thinks 'I want some headlines of my own' and he's grabbed it because what a finish into the top corner.

Wow that's a fantastic save from Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga to deny Callum Paterson's header!

There are shouts for a penalty in the aftermath from Cardiff City after Paterson was brought down by David Luiz but replays show there was nothing wrong with the challenge.

Another change for Cardiff City. Gary Madine comes on for Danny Ward.

Just under a quarter of an hour of normal time remains.

Willian's been tremendous since he's come on for Chelsea and he bosses his way into regaining possession from Cardiff and sends the ball upfield with ease.

As yet, no signs that either side can get another goal on the scoresheet as the time ticks away.

Cardiff City make their second change of the afternoon as Bobby Reid is replaced by Callum Paterson.

Wow that was close!

Against the run of play, Cardiff City work the ball to Bobby Reid who finds space in the box as he beats David Luiz and he places a shot that curls low and just past the right-hand post.

That would have been some first goal to score for your new club.

Meanwhile, Chelsea replace Pedro with Willian.

The best chance we've seen in this second half and it's gone to Chelsea.

Pedro picks up the ball on the edge of the box and halts his run before calmly shooting towards goal but it's narrowly wide.

Moments later, he chests down a ball into the box and attempts to turn and shoot but it's wide once more.

Tremendous stuff, mind.

How costly is losing Mateo Kovacic going to be to Chelsea?

They look a bit shapeless in this second half since he was forced off. A goal would do nicely right about now for the hosts.

There's cheers among the Chelsea crowd as the hosts make a string of about 1,000 passes without losing possession.

Cardiff don't seem to frustrated, though. It will be an interesting finish to this game if the scoreline stays like this.

Cardiff City aren't out of this game just yet.

A long throw-in towards the Chelsea box is headed into the path of Bluebirds midfielder Joe Ralls, who fires low from long-range but it sails wide.

First change for Chelsea this afternoon sees Mateo Kovacic come off. Looks as if he's picked up a dead leg in the early stages of the second half.

His replacement is Ross Barkley.

Harry Arter has a 'dodgy stomach', apparently.
