    Tottenham 1-0 Chelsea

Should be two. Chelsea are sliced apart with Son Heung-min playing a lovely give-and-go with Christian Eriksen, who made the goal a few minutes over.

Eriksen lofts the ball over the static Chelsea defence and Son is clean through, but his composure is poor and he shoots over the top. Will that come back to haunt Spurs?

    Dele Alli

It had been coming. A lovely floated free-kick in from the right by Christian Eriksen, Dele Alli gets in front of his marker at the near post and glances a header past Kepa Arrizabalaga.

Tottenham lead, and they deserve it.

Straight down the other end and Morata got goalside of Juan Foyth and flicks it goalbound, but it is just off target. If it keeps up like this then we're going to have a very entertaining two hours ahead of us.

    Tottenham 0-0 Chelsea

Chelsea just can't get the ball. Serge Aurier swings it into the box from the right. Harry Kane gets above Cesar Azpilicueta but the header rebounds off the Chelsea man, that takes a lot of power out of it and it is held by Kepa Arrizabalaga.

  8. CLOSE!published at 1 min

    Tottenham 0-0 Chelsea

The first corner came to nothing, but Spurs instantly get a second one, but Eric Dier heads over the top from this one. Bright start from Tottenham though.

    Tottenham 0-0 Chelsea

"Tottenham are the greatest team the world has ever seen," the song says as it rings around Wembley Stadium just seconds before the game gets under way. And it is a very early corner for the hosts, on a Wembley pitch that is still in a right old mess.

A lot has been made about Chelsea's impressive start under Maurizio Sarri, but Tottenham are only a point behind them.

If they win this, Spurs go above the Blues, which is an extra incentive - not that they need it.

    Prediction: 2-0

JavelBleach: Of course, I'd love to see #Chelsea, external lose for once, but strategically, a tame 0-0 might be my preferred most exciting outcome here.

Not a big fan of a tame 0-0 shout. If it's got to be a draw how about 4-4 instead?

  12. 'Man City are above the others'published at 17:27 Greenwich Mean Time 24 November 2018

    Tottenham v Chelsea (17:30 GMT)

Chelsea head coach Maurizio Sarri said: "At the moment, in the Premier League there is a team above the others. This team is Manchester City. Then there is a very good team, Liverpool. For sure, they will be in the first four positions.

"Then there are four or five teams who will have to fight for the Champions League places: Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham, [Manchester] United, maybe somebody else.

"For me, they [Manchester City] are stronger than us at the moment. We have to work, we have to work very hard just to try to recover the gap. But, at the moment, the gap is still there."

Some random relationship advice from Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino to his players this week.

Pochettino said: "We're pushing players to the limit. The line between getting injured or not is so thin.

"We don't realise that we're playing with the health of the players. They're human. It's so tough. They are young. They need to enjoy life, too.

"They need to spend energy with families, kids, girlfriends. And the guys that are not with girlfriends need to go to try to find one."

  17. Kante out of your combined Spurs & Chelsea XIpublished at 17:21 Greenwich Mean Time 24 November 2018

Chelsea may have handed N'Golo Kante a new deal on Friday but there was no place for the Frenchman in your combined Tottenham and Chelsea XI.

Kante was kept out of your midfield by team-mate Jorginho and Tottenham pair Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen.

You went for Spurs' Hugo Lloris over Chelsea's £71m summer signing Kepa Arrizabalaga in goal.

    Tom Heaton
Burnley and England goalkeeper on BBC Radio 5 live

Tottenham did not sign any players in the squad (in the summer) but over the past few years they have added strength to their squad and I think they are still moving in the right direction.

I see Mauricio Pochettino as someone who would not let complacency set in. Their players have been good this season and I think there's more to come.

  19. 'Weariness will determine the winners'published at 17:19 Greenwich Mean Time 24 November 2018

    Tottenham v Chelsea (17:30 GMT)

    Jonathan Pearce
BBC Match of the Day commentator

Both clubs face back-to-back derbies. Make no mistake - this is one of the most spiteful.

Tottenham fans loathe Chelsea's nouveau riche recent history. Fans of the Blues detest Spurs crowing about the "Glory Glory", externaldays, arguing that since 2004 Chelsea have won almost as many major trophies as Tottenham have in their entire history. There's no love lost!

Spurs are enjoying their second-best opening phase to a Premier League season. Chelsea are two games shy of a club-record undefeated run from the start of a top-flight campaign.

Post-international injuries and weariness will determine the winners.
