Gray stands up his man and picks out Rachid Ghezzal free at the back post but the substitute guides his volley just wide of the opposite upright.

Cheikhou Kouyata has been decent for Palace today but looks to have picked up a knock.

On comes Jeffrey Schlupp to face his former side.

Ricardo Pereira swings in a vicious cross towards Jamie Vardy but a Palace defender does well to get a head on it first.

Fuchs' cross is deflected out for a corner.

Ghezzal swings it in short towards Vardy but Palace clear and counter.

Ayew then plays an over-ambitious pass towards Townsend, with McArthur free, and the ball runs through to Schmeichel. Not great.

Leicester head the free-kick out but it drops for Max Meyer, who swings it through the area and out.

Palace appeal for the corner but no deflection on that.

James McArthur is running in between the lines and causing Leicester a lot of problems.

He picks out Andros Townsend now and the winger is brought down by Christian Fuchs.

James McArthur sees Patrick van Aanholt is free on the left with the Leicester defence caught square and picks him out.

But Van Aanholt is a touch sluggish getting there and Christian Fuchs can get back to tackle him.

Kasper Schmeichel has to parry away at his near post as Palace cause Leicester problems down the right.

The Foxes try to counter but Palace scramble back in time.

Max Meyer picks out James McArthur's run into the middle and the latter then finds Andros Townsend.

Townsend feeds the unmarked Jordan Ayew but his shoot is poor and blocked.

Luka Milivojevic is following in and the ball breaks to him but he can't repeat his stunning strike from the first half and fires over.

Rachid Ghezzal picks up the loose ball and finds Demarai Gray on the halfway line.

The Leicester youngster drives powerfully through the middle as Palace back off him before a home defender gets a boot in.

The ball loops up and breaks for Gray again but he drags a weak effort wide.

Leicester play it long down the left and Aaron Wan-Bissaka can only deflect it into Christian Fuchs' path and the Foxes left-back wins a throw.

Fuchs fires in a long throw and it comes off Martin Kelly but Vicente Guaita clings on.

Patrick van Aanholt swings in the free-kick towards the far post but it evades everyone and runs off for a Leicester goal kick.

Christian Fuchs overlaps and sends the cross in but the ball balloons up off Demarai Gray, who couldn't adjust his feet quickly enough.

It flies high and wide.

Hearing that the substitution was indeed tactical and not due to an injury to James Maddison.

Leicester start the second half in more of a 4-4-2 formation with Gray up with Vardy.

And Palace gets the game back under way.
