But referee Michael Oliver judges that McArthur dived and shows him a yellow card for simulation.

A bit harsh perhaps. It wasn't a clear foul but I don't think it was a case of no contact at all either.

The German slides in a low effort that drifts just wide of the right-hand post.

Palace surge forward again and Leicester are forced to somewhat scramble.

His ball in evades all the white shirts and Palace start the counter.

Leicester are now on top in terms of possession. They look the more likely side to break this deadlock, with Palace still disjointed.

Leicester continue to prosper by switching it quickly to full-backs Christian Fuchs and Ricardo Pereira.

It's the latter this time down the right but his cross is too close to Vicente Guaita.

Martin Kelly heads a ball towards Jamie Vardy into the path of James Maddison.

The young playmaker plays a one-two with the overlapping Christian Fuchs but Palace are back in numbers.

Leicester swing it right instead and Marc Albrighton's cross evades everyone but zips out to Christian Fuchs on the left wing.

The Austrian swings in a decent cross and Vardy heads it too close to Palace keeper Vicente Guaita, who gratefully gathers.

Corner to Palace, they swing it in but Kasper Schmeichel is fouled.

Palace swing in a free-kick and Christian Fuchs is alert at the back post to head it away for a throw.

Vicente Guaita almost has a total mare on his Premier League debut.

The Spanish keeper elects to take a touch after a back pass and knocks the ball out to the left but too far away from his body and Jamie Vardy is bearing down.

Vardy nips in, swivels and finds the net.

But the referee's whistle has gone for a foul on Guaita. It was a bit of a barge from Vardy but that was very, very risky from the Palace keeper.

Marc Albrighton starts a move on the right and nearly gets on the end of it in the area but Palace stick a boot in.

The hosts have had more possession but Leicester just look a much more composed and competent side.

James Maddison's corner deflects through towards the back post and rebounds off Cheikhour Kouyate before Palace hack it away.

Christian Fuchs whips in a dangerous cross and Martin Kelly does well to divert the ball away from his own net and out for a corner.
