The ball is still with Cardiff, Victor Camarasa receives it in the middle and he goes for the long-range effort from outside the box.

He doesn't hit it cleanly though and it was always spinning away from Ben Foster's goal.

Some slick play from Cardiff as they move the ball up the pitch from a throw and they have won a throw in right by the corner flag. Substitute Mendez-Laing is at the heart of the move.

Watford are able to clear, but is this a sign that Cardiff are slowly starting to find a bit of form?

Bennett is substituted and on comes Lee Peltier in his place. He's only just come back himself after suffering a dislocated shoulder in September.

There was no one near him as he went down but something has twinged there. Looks like he's going to be replaced.

The rain has got heavier but still Watford play the ball around beautifully.

Deulofeu has the ball on the left and....

Just moments into the second half and Neil Etheridge has produced another cracking save, and again it's from Roberto Pereyra.

The Watford man opens up his body and tries to steer it past the Cardiff keeper but Etheridge will not be beaten.

Pereyra should have had a hat-trick by now.

One change for Cardiff at the start of the second half. Josh Murphy goes off, and Nathaniel Mendez-Laing is on in his place.

A spell of Cardiff pressure is ended when Deulofeu breaks away and Watford have a free-kick on the edge of the area after Harry Arter clears Roberto Pereyra out.

Pereyra wants to take it himself. It's in a good position.

He curls it in and WHAT A SAVE from Etheridge as he stretches out to his right. He's kept his side in this half.

Deulofeu plays a cross in, Doucoure lets the ball run in a delightful dummy allowing Pereyra to take the shot but an outstretched Etheridge stops him in his tracks.

Another chance for Watford and that man Gerard Deulofeu is involved again.

He gets the ball out on the right wing and delivers in a nice cross, but a team-mate isn't able to meet it.

It looks as though Christian Kabasele stood on Paterson's foot - by accident.

He's back up though and good to go on.

A rare moment of carelessness from Watford as Domingos Quina plays the ball straight to a Cardiff player.

They break away and Hoilett puts a beautiful cross in. Callum Paterson goes up for the header but its too high. As he lands, he falls into a crumpled heap and it looks as though Paterson has hurt his ankle.

Watford have a chance blocked. Roberto Pereyra plays a cheeky one-two with Gerard Deulofeu just inside the box but his effort on goal is deflected out for a corner.

Etheridge punches the resulting set-piece away. Cardiff really under pressure here.
