And now Conor McLaughlin heads over from a corner.

Surely Northern Ireland are going to put away one of these chances sooner or later?

    Another chance for Northern Ireland!

Ollie Norwood pings a free-kick into the box, Jonny Evans flicks on and Kyle Lafferty is there at the far post. A goal surely? He volleys straight at Ibrahim Sehic and then Eldar Civic blocks George Saville's attempt from the loose ball.

Edin Dzeko catches Jonny Evans in the face with his arm as the pair challenge for the ball. It's a nasty connection, but Dzeko's eyes are on the ball and the referee lets him off with a yellow card.

That was the chance we've been talking about. It should be 1-1.

We wanted Niall McGinn to be more positive and it's a good, positive start again from Northern Ireland at the start of this second half.

Is this going to be one of those days?

Yet another golden chance for Northern Ireland as a fantastic cross comes in from the right, it falls at Stuart Dallas' feet but he volleys into the ground and just over the bar.

I'm a big fan of Kyle Lafferty but he can be frustrating.

He needs to time his runs a bit better - he's either too early or too late. If he timed them better he would score a lot more goals.

An effective away performance so far for Bosnia-Herzegovina - sit back, soak up the pressure and then hit the hosts on the break.

You can rate the players of both teams right here.

  10. Hoping for second-half comebackpublished at 14:53 British Summer Time 8 September 2018

    Northern Ireland 0-1 Bosnia-Herzegovina

BBC Sport NI's Richard Petrie at Windsor Park: "That breakaway goal by Haris Duljevic has stunned the home crowd somewhat but it hasn't curbed their enthusiasm as a generous round of applause greets the players' departure from the pitch at the end of the first half.

"The quality of their side's play offers plenty of hope of a second-half comeback although the supporters will hope to see visiting goalkeeper Ibrahim Sehic forced into action to a much greater extent.

"Ten Northern Ireland attempts at goal in the first half but only two on target tells its own story."

I really don't know how they are ahead. Northern Ireland were so positive in the opening stages and had a clear-cut penalty turned down.

  12. HALF-TIMEpublished at 14:48 British Summer Time 8 September 2018

One lapse in concentration in defence, one goal for Bosnia-Herzegovina and they lead at the break.

Better from Northern Ireland as Ollie Norwood whips in a fine cross for Kyle Lafferty, who jumps but just not quite high enough to get any meaningful direction on his header.

    Northern Ireland 0-1 Bosnia-Herzegovina

Another ball into the box by Mo Besic skims across Edin Dzeko's head as the visitors come forward again.

    Northern Ireland 0-1 Bosnia-Herzegovina

    Stephen Craigan
Former NI defender on BBC Radio Ulster

It was far too easy for Dzeko to get the cross in, then the Northern Ireland defenders were caught ball watching for the goal.

It's a bitter blow against the run of play and Northern Ireland need to galvanize themselves and come again.

A much relieved Mo Besic has the opportunity to forget about defensive duties for a few minutes as he gets forward to support an attack. He overhits a ball into the box and Northern Ireland can gather themselves once again.

    Northern Ireland 0-1 Bosnia-Herzegovina

That goal has clearly knocked the stuffing out of Northern Ireland and they are not quite dominating as much as they did the first first half hour. They need to get back to that level of intensity and surely a goal will come.

    Northern Ireland 0-1 Bosnia-Herzegovina

    Stephen Craigan
Former NI defender on BBC Radio Ulster

Conor McLaughlin has to stop the cross from Edin Dzeko, he has to work harder to stop that cross.

It's all very well getting forward but that's bread and butter - you have to stop that ball at the source.

    Haris Duljevic

    Suckerpunch!

You could just feel that this was coming as the visitors take the lead. Great work by Edin Dzeko down the left as he delivers a low ball towards the near post and Haris Duljevic nips in to flick home.

The Northern Ireland defence should have done better there.

It's been a frantic start to the game but, having not got a goal, Northern Ireland have dropped the tempo a bit as they look to regroup and find another way to open up the visitors.
