Celtic's Olivier Ntcham whips in a dangerous free-kick and Dedryck Boyata is not far away from making contact in a busy penalty box. Allan McGregor is a picture of calm as he gathers on his goal-line.

Celtic captain Scott Brown is the first player cautioned as he slides in late on Kyle Lafferty.

There wasn't a great deal of contact, certainly not enough to merit a prodigious leap into the air from Lafferty but it was rash - and a bit daft, since the ball was deep in Rangers territory.

First corner of the day goes Celtic's way as the home side make all of the early running. Callum McGregor curls it into the mixer and there are a couple of bodies down after some grappling. Referee Willie Collum just watches on as Rangers eventually clear.

Mikael Lustig v Kyle Lafferty looks like being a lively tussle. That's twice they've been involved in what is known politely as a "coming together". Both men are fired up for this one.

James Forrest has the home fans on their feet as he bustles into the penalty area from the right and lays the ball off to Odsonne Edouard but the Frenchman is crowded out when trying to turn and get a shot away.
