    Leicester 0-1 Everton

Bernard is leading Leicester a merry dance down the left for Everton. He's twisty, he's turny, he's direct, and if City don't get a hold of him they'll be left to regret it.

  2. 'Typical Watford'published at 15:18 British Summer Time 6 October 2018

    Watford 0-1 Bournemouth

    Martin Keown
Former England defender on Final Score

It's a brilliant break by Bournemouth. It is almost typical of Watford's season because they start matches so aggressively, but they can leave the door open at the other end.

  3. Postpublished at 15:17 British Summer Time 6 October 2018

    Watford 0-1 Bournemouth

Considering that David Brooks wasn't even a regular starter for Sheffield United last season, his start to life in the Premier League is even more impressive. That is goals in successive games for him now.

  4. Postpublished at 15:17 British Summer Time 6 October 2018

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Wolves

Didn't read it - Wilfried Zaha puts the ball across the face of goal for a tap-in, but Jordan Ayew hadn't anticipated it at all.

  5. A 'Dier' record put rightpublished at 15:17 British Summer Time 6 October 2018

    Tottenham 1-0 Cardiff

    Home sweet home?

David: Given the state of the Wembley pitch and the number of spectators, Spurs should perhaps play their games in Milton Keynes until their new home (which could be a rumour anyway) is finished.

  7. GREAT SAVE!published at 15:16 British Summer Time 6 October 2018

    Tottenham 1-0 Cardiff

Save! Lucas Moura dances into the area from wide on the left, shapes to shoot but keeps on going and then finds Davinson Sanchez, who swivels like a centre-forward and gets a shot off but Neil Etheridge stands up well to block with his chest.

  8. goal

GOAL - Watford 0-1 Bournemouthpublished at 15:14 British Summer Time 6 October 2018

    David Brooks

    Brooks is on fire!

The young winger is perfectly placed to slot home inside the box after an end-to-end move sees the Cherries charge forward and Ben Foster save Josh King's far-post effort.

It is against the run of play. Bournemouth won't care one bit.

  9. Postpublished at 15:14 British Summer Time 6 October 2018

    Tottenham 1-0 Cardiff

Cardiff may have fallen behind early on but they look decent on the counter. Twice now they have had a man over but haven't been able to find the right pass...

Mourinho's redemption... Sounds like a great film doesn't it.

Christy: I’m a Manchester United fan however I will be gutted if Jose leaves or gets sacked he’s a title winner he needs time and support. I’m hoping everyone at the game today really gets behind and supports him!

Yullaw: I am pretty sure, if Jose survives the match today, he’ll go on a winning spree of trophies just like Sir Alex back in the early nineties when he was about to get sacked & completely turned things around. The rest is history.

  11. YELLOW CARDpublished at 15:12 British Summer Time 6 October 2018

    Watford 0-0 Bournemouth

Well, that's about as clear a foul on the keeper as you'll see. A ball into the Bournemouth box is headed up in the air and caught by Asmir Begovic, who is then clattered by Christian Kabasele.

A yellow card is his reward.

  12. CLOSE!published at 15:11 British Summer Time 6 October 2018

    Burnley 0-0 Huddersfield

Nothing wrong with that whatsoever from Jonathan Hogg! The Huddersfield man lashes in a strike after a corner was half cleared to the edge of the box and it flashes just over the top.

  13. Postpublished at 15:10 British Summer Time 6 October 2018

    Tottenham 1-0 Cardiff

    Pat Nevin
Former Scotland winger on BBC Radio 5 live

Spurs had three corners in a row, the last one being played short which caused some confusion, the cross comes in and at first I thought it was Harry Kane. Turns out it's Eric Dier who reacts quickly with a great finish.

  14. Postpublished at 15:10 British Summer Time 6 October 2018

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Wolves

Palace are dominating the early play at Selhurst but there's been precious little goal action of note for either side.

  15. 'Everton look better with him in the team'published at 15:10 British Summer Time 6 October 2018

    Leicester 0-1 Everton

    Paul Ince
Former England midfielder on Football Focus

Great feet by Bernard. Richarlison has been sorely missed and Everton look a better team with him in it.

  16. Postpublished at 15:10 British Summer Time 6 October 2018

    Leicester 0-1 Everton

Leicester are all over the shop!

Everton nearly bag a second as Richarison's low ball across goal just evades Gylfi Sigurdsson, five yards out.

The midfielder thinks he should have a penalty for either a shove from a defender from behind or a clatter from the front from Kasper Schmeichel, but the referee rightly dismisses his appeals.

  17. goal

GOAL - Tottenham 1-0 Cardiffpublished at 15:08 British Summer Time 6 October 2018

    Eric Dier (8 mins)

He couldn't miss! From that corner Davinson Sanchez saw his header blocked by Joe Bennett, it spins into the path of Eric Dier and from six yards out he just strides on to it and sweeps home.

  18. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 15:08 British Summer Time 6 October 2018

    Tottenham 0-0 Cardiff

Penalty? No! Danny Rose drives into the Cardiff area and tries to beat his man, down he goes but the corner is given, not a penalty. Right call I think.

  19. goal

GOAL - Leicester 0-1 Evertonpublished at 15:07 British Summer Time 6 October 2018

    Richarlison

This game was always threatening to have goals in it.

It is the visitors who get the first, from their very first attack.

Great work from Bernard on the left, who finds some space before clipping a teasing ball that Kasper Schmeichel can only palm out to Richarlison. The Brazilian does the rest with a first-time finish.

  20. Postpublished at 15:07 British Summer Time 6 October 2018

    Burnley 0-0 Huddersfield

The closest yet - fine deep cross from the right is met by Sam Vokes but his header is straight at Jonas Lossl.
