Man City 4-2 Tottenham (Agg 4-3)

    Chris Bevan
    BBC Sport at Etihad Stadium

Absolutely incredible noise at the Etihad right now. The City fans are on their feet all around the ground, roaring their side on for more goals, or whistling Spurs when they get the ball.

City are ahead in the tie for the first time but the volume did not dip for a moment even when they were behind on the night. Pep Guardiola asked for an atmosphere - he has got one.

It is superb play again by Man City. Ilkay Gungodan finds Kevin de Bruyne who puts it into Sergio Aguero's path. He takes a touch and smashes it past Hugo Lloris. He hits it well but if the goalkeeper stands up, he saves that.

    Sergio Aguero

    Lethal from Sergio Aguero!

The blue half of Manchester erupts.

Kevin de Bruyne again collects the ball right where you want him 30 yards out in the centre of goal. He beats a tackle, feeds Aguero and from the right side of the box the Argentine hammers the ball past Hugo Lloris.

It beats Lloris at his near post but Aguero's shot was past the Spurs goalkeeper before he saw it.

Excellent, excellent challenge from Vincent Kompany. It looks like Son Heung-min is in behind but the City captain stretches a leg to deny him.

That's not the end of the attack though and Fernanrdo Llorente gets a free header later on but it's straight at Ederson.

    Porto 0-1 Liverpool (Agg 0-1)

Porto look like they could have 50 shots in this tie and not score. Another header goes wide.

They've played well over this quarter-final but have not been clinical enough.

Pep Guardiola - the master of micro-management - was actually on the pitch giving detailed instructions to Vincent Kompany as Manchester City lined up a free-kick on the edge of the area.

Lots of gesticulating but Kompany seemed to take it all in. Fourth official not impressed.
