Ricardo: How is it a yellow card to put a mask on? Out of all the play-acting in this game from both teams and that gets a yellow? The amount of yellows amassed from celebrations is needless.

Yep, Auba was booked for the celebration

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is inches away from a hat-trick. Alex Iwobi picks him out and he pokes it past the keeper but just wide of the post.

I've had about one million texts and tweets pointing out that it was a Black Panther mask. I don't even know what a Mexican wrestling mask is, not sure why that was my guess.

Turns out that was a Black Panther mask in Auba's celebration, not a wrestling one. Sorry, I've been to the cinema once in about 10 years and that was to watch the Inbetweeners 2...

Ready for a classic football cliche? In many ways that changes nothing. Arsenal were going through anyway without that goal - and a Rennes goal would take this to extra time.

    Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

Arsenal lead on aggregate now. Henrikh Mkhitaryan does well to pick out Sead Kolasinac down the left and his low cross is tapped into an empty net from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Alex Iwobi's first touch is almost to give Arsenal a bit of daylight. He controls the ball on the edge of the area and shoots just wide - probably should have done better.

Arsenal make a double switch. Creative midfielders Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Alex Iwobi are on for Mesut Ozil - who walks off the pitch at one mile at hour - and Alexandre Lacazette.

Ramy Bensebaini is miles offside so this wouldn't count but he hits a beautiful first-time volley from the corner of the box which cracks off the post.

There were about three Rennes players offside so the flag went up straight away.

David: These Rennes players need to grow up. Stop diving around and constantly asking for a yellow card.

Jack: Can we avoid the plucky Rennes narrative? They are a nasty, cynical cheating team.

Dom: Apparently English gravity is a little stronger than French gravity. Only reason I can think of that the Rennes players seem to have so much difficulty staying on their feet.

Shane: If Arsenal are becoming a force then the other Premier League teams must be apocalyptic. If this is what a force looks like then it's not very threatening.
