We're all level now! Mijat Gacinovic plays a ball into Luka Jovic. David Luiz totally switches off to the threat of the 26-goal striker, who is free to just place the ball past Kepa.

    Valencia 1-1 Arsenal (2-4 agg)

Early chance for Valencia but Cristiano Piccini's shot hits his own team-mate - Francis Coquelin.

Yet again there was another ball on the pitch. It's like the ball boys got carried away by the success of that Liverpool one.

A reminder of where we are. Valencia need two more to force extra time.

Eintracht Frankfurt need one goal for extra time.

Roger Petrie: If Chelsea beat Arsenal in the final do arsenal qualify for Champions League as Chelsea already have got a spot? Just wondering

Nope. The third-placed team in France go straight into the group stages instead of qualifying.

If Arsenal and Chelsea pull this off, that would result in all three European cups being in England. (CL, EL and Super Cup from the winners of the all English final). Has that ever happened before?

    Nick from Bath

Not with English teams. Has happened with Spanish teams plenty of times recently - the Uefa Super Cup this season was a Madrid derby.

What a terrific game of football. The atmosphere has been brilliant from the first minute.

Valencia got that early goal and it looked like it would be a test of Arsenal's bottle but they responded well.

Chelsea have been in compete control and I do not think they have got out of second gear.

Eden Hazard created the goal but Ruben Loftus-Cheek has been superb with his athleticism and his pace.

MrJacobSheppard Ruben Loftus-Cheek should be the centerpiece of the Chelsea midfield for the next decade. Power and pace combined with attacking AND defensive prowess. What a man.

  11. Can Valencia come back?published at 20:52 British Summer Time 9 May 2019

    Valencia 1-1 Arsenal (2-4 agg)

Simon Gleave, head of sports analysis, Gracenote:

"Since the competition's inception in 2009, only seven teams have been eliminated from the knockout phase of the Europa League after leading by two or more goals at the end of the first leg - Juventus, Ajax, Real Betis, FC Basel, Lazio and, earlier this year, Rennes (against Arsenal) and Benfica.

"Valencia have recovered from such a deficit to progress. Five years ago, they lost their quarter-final first leg 3-0 at Basel. Back at the Mestalla, Valencia scored two first-half goals and a third with 20 minutes remaining to take the tie into extra time. It remained 3-3 on aggregate until the last six minutes of extra time when Valencia scored twice to make it 5-0 on the night."

Mesut Ozil has done well tonight. He hasn't got the ball too many times, but when he has, he has taken care of it and not given it away.

Ozil's 91.3% is the best passing accuracy of any Arsenal player.

Liam, London: Judging by the noise the fans are making you could be forgiven for thinking Chelsea are the away side.
