Mark M: Newcastle looking very nervous and short of ideas today. Could really do with 3 points from todays game to kick start our season especially with both Fulham and Huddersfield down at half time

Dubai Daddy: Is Uncle Michael really suggesting that Pulis or Moyes will do a better job than Rafa?? I’m sure the Newcastle fans would be delighted with such a master plan

    Liverpool 1-0 Cardiff

Aron Gunnarsson winds up to launch a long throw into the Liverpool box. It needs to be long but it isn't and Trent Alexander-Arnold heads it clear.

Liverpool manage to break away but Adam Lallana and Mohamed Salah can't combine on the edge of the box.

  3. goal

GOAL - Brighton 1-0 Wolvespublished at 16:05 British Summer Time 27 October 2018

    Glenn Murray (48 mins)

He's done it! 100 goals for Brighton for Glenn Murray!

Sparked out last week, he's back with a goal. Bruno hits the ball across goal and Murray reacts brilliantly, instinctively, to cushion in a side-footed finish.

    Watford 2-0 Huddersfield

Can Huddersfield mount a fightback in the second half? They did at least have eight attempts in the opening 45 minutes, which is something to be positive about.

Only Bournemouth and Liverpool from the top six are in action today.

The Reds are currently top of the table as they lead Cardiff and Bournemouth will edge closer to a European spot if they can hold onto a 1-0 lead at Fulham.

There's been eight shots in total at St Mary's and only one on target.

But Liverpool have had just two shots on target despite their domination at Anfield. They have had 12 shots in total and Cardiff are yet to record any.

Maybe some target training is needed?

Ant: And that first half is why we won't win the league. No ruthlessness or desire to kill teams off. Sort it Klopp!

JavelBleach: Are Liverpool purposely keeping this tight so they can practice staying focused?

Matt: Soton v Newcastle is the typical relegation 6 pointer....except that it doesn't matter who wins as they are both going down

Uday: Some analysis is easy and fundamental. Newcastle are bereft of confidence and scared to make a mistake hence won’t take a shot.

Thomas Hollern: There are a lot of mediocre teams in the so called Best League In The World who go out with the mentality of making sure they don't lose rather than going out to win the game. It's the same story every week and it's getting boring

Penno: Moreno silently quelling all doubts

LFCWay: The Way Liverpool started, Cardiff will be happy it's only 1-0 at half time. Need the second goal to kill this game off

Alberto Moreno lifts a ball into the box and Adam Lallana is completely unmarked. He heads it back across goal with power and it's heading into the back of the net.

But Cardiff skipper Sean Morrison clears it brilliantly off the line to deny him. Quality defending!
