    West Brom 0-0 Leeds

Leeds are starting to come into the game and create another decent opening.

Barry Douglas gets them moving with a slide-rule pass to Ezgjan Alioski. His pull-back finds Mateusz Klich but the midfielder's effort is palmed away by Sam Johnstone.

    Much, much better from United.

Suddenly a lull in what has been an intriguing game so far.

I would expect Darren Moore is the happier of the two managers - although he would probably prefer to have seen his West Brom side hit the target more than once with their 10 shots so far.

  3. Postpublished at 29 mins

    West Brom 0-0 Leeds

Leeds immediately spring to the other end, Adam Forshaw drives forward but sees his shot from 30 yards comfortably held by Sam Johnstone.

  4. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 28 mins

    West Brom 0-0 Leeds

    How is this still goalless?

Another brilliant piece of West Brom football as Jay Rodriguez works a yard of space and clips a brilliant effort over the despairing Bailey Peacock-Farrell.

Unfortunately for Albion, the ball smacks the bar and Leeds hack it clear.

From the resulting corner Craig Dawson can't direct his header goalwards.

That's the best bit of football from Leeds so far as Barry Douglas finds some space down the left.

Some neat interpassing sees the ball end at the feet of Pablo Hernandez, but his side-foot effort sails over the bar.

    Decent chance though, that.

  6. Postpublished at 22 mins

    West Brom 0-0 Leeds

Close again for West Brom as Leeds almost shoot themselves in the foot.

Kalvin Phillips gives the ball away on halfway and Albion spring the counter-attack with an elongated one-two between Harvey Barnes and Hal Robson-Kanu, which ends in Barnes drilling a low shot into the side netting from 12 yards.

If anything, the pass back to him from Robson-Kanu was a touch heavy.

  7. Postpublished at 20 mins

    West Brom 0-0 Leeds

Leeds finally enjoy a bit of time inside the West Brom half. Adam Forshaw tries his luck from range but sees his effort well blocked before the Baggies defence smuggle the ball clear.

    It's been a high-tempo start from Albion.

Marcelo Bielsa is crouching on the edge of his technical area. The Leeds boss looks a little concerned.

    West Brom 0-0 Leeds

West Brom are causing Leeds real problems here.

This time Jay Rodriguez spins in behind the Leeds backline and forces a decent save out of Bailey Peacock-Farrell with an angled 20-yard drive.

Another great chance for West Brom.

Matt Phillips wins a corner, swings it into the box and when Craig Dawson heads it down Tosin Adarabioyo spanks a half-volley just the wrong side of the post.

Leeds have enjoyed plenty of possession so far.

Unfortunately, most of it has been shared between Pontus Jansson and Liam Cooper inside United's half.

  12. CLOSE!published at 9 mins

    West Brom 0-0 Leeds

That's a very decent effort from Hal Robson-Kanu!

The former Wales striker does all the hard work himself, cutting in from the right, skipping past the challenge of Liam Cooper and curling a left-foot shot narrowly over the bar.

    West Brom 0-0 Leeds

Matt Phillips tries his luck from a long, long, LONG way out.

It has Bailey Peacock-Farrell scrambling across his goal but, to the keeper's relief, the West Brom winger's effort is off target.

Not a sniff of a chance yet as both sides feel their way into this game.

Neither side seems to want to let the other play out from the back.

  15. Postpublished at 2 mins

    West Brom 0-0 Leeds

It's a change of system for West Brom, with boss Darren Moore reverting to a back four from the back three he has been playing.

Albion have been playing out from the back this season. Will be interesting to see how that works against the high-pressing style Leeds have been playing under Marcelo Bielsa.

Kemar Roofe, who came through the West Brom academy gets us under way... wearing the yellow today of Leeds United.

Will he come back to haunt his former club?

Just before kick-off The Hawthorns rises for a period of remembrance to mark tomorrow's centenary of the armistice at the end of World War One.

A reading by a padre from 4 Mercian regiment is followed by a minute's silence and a rendition of the Last Post.

Wonderfully observed - as have all the periods of reflection I've seen across football over the past week or so.

As the two sides take the field, let's take a look at this evening's line-ups.

West Brom hand starts to the fit-again Kieran Gibbs and Hal Robson-Kanu. Dwight Gayle is only fit enough for a place on the bench.

Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa names the same starting line-up that began last Sunday's victory at Wigan.

West Brom: Johnstone, Dawson, Hegazi, Adarabioyo, Gibbs, Phillips, Livermore, Morrison, Barnes, Rodriguez, Robson-Kanu.

Subs: Myhill, Mears, Barry, Harper, Hoolahan, Sako, Gayle.

Leeds: Peacock-Farrellm Douglas, Dallas, Cooper, Jansson, Phillips, Klich, Alioski, Hernandez, Forshaw, Roofe.

Subs: Blackman, Davis, Shackleton, Harrison, Baker, Saiz, Roberts.

Before the two sides take to the field for this evening's game, The Hawthorns has paid tribute to Leicester owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha, who died alongside four others when his helicopter crashed outside the King Power Stadium following the Foxes' draw with West Ham a fortnight ago.

Leeds have certainly impressed so far this season under legendary coach Marcelo Bielsa, losing just twice so far.

And West Brom need to beware if they fall behind this evening as United are are the only team yet to lose a single point from a winning position in the Championship this season.

With Norwich's dramatic win this afternoon, only a win will take them back to the top of the table this evening.
