    Mansfield 0-0 Charlton

That's a bit of a shocker from Charlton's George Lapslie.

He latches onto a low cross in the box, but skews his effort wide from 10 yards.

Still goalless in this clash of League Two against League One.

Elvis the dog will be quite happy with how his Hitchin Town side have fared so far.

The lowest ranked side left in the competition - in the seventh tier no less - are still level against their National League opponents Solihull Moors.

Jamey Osbourne came close to giving the visitors the lead with an 18-yard drive but Hitchin goalkeeper Michael Johnson had it covered.

Peter H Todd: I do enjoy the FA Cup first round games. Lets hope we see many of the smaller teams getting through to round 2. Be great to see Weston-Super-Mare in the next round.

It's still goalless between the sixth-tier side and National League leaders Wrexham after 15 minutes.

  4. goal

GOAL: Alfreton 0-1 Fleetwoodpublished at 13:01 Greenwich Mean Time 11 November 2018

    Paddy Madden (12 mins)

League One side Fleetwood Town have the lead against sixth-tier Alfreton Town and it could be a long way back for the hosts.

A Lewie Coyle cross sails into the box and Paddy Madden is given plenty of time and space in which to hook his foot onto it and volley home from close range.

  5. goal

GOAL: Chorley 1-1 Doncasterpublished at 13:00 Greenwich Mean Time 11 November 2018

    Herbie Kane (12 mins)

It's scrappy but, the League One club won't care!

Chorley keeper Matt Urwin does well to save John Marquis' initial shot. The ball falls to Herbie Kane who smashes Doncaster back onto level terms.

  6. RED CARDpublished at 12:57 Greenwich Mean Time 11 November 2018

    Barnet 0-0 Bristol Rovers

Drama early on at the Hive and the red card has been brandished!

Bristol Rovers midfielder Stuart Sinclair sees red for a rash two-footed challenge on Barnet's Wesley Fonguck.

If there was going to be a shock today, I did say I fancied Chorley.

  8. goal

GOAL: Chorley 1-0 Doncasterpublished at 12:51 Greenwich Mean Time 11 November 2018

    Josh O'Keefe (2 mins)

Two minutes in and we've already got our first goal!

Josh O'Keefe rises highest from a corner to head the National League North side in front against their League One opponents.

    Weston-super-Mare 0-0 Wrexham

Chances at both ends - Ben Swallow fires an effort over the bar for sixth-tier Weston before Wrexham's Chris Holroyd smacks one past the post.

    Good start in Somerset.

    Weston-super-Mare v Wrexham (12:45 GMT)

"If we lose, I'll probably take some stick from the kids."

Weston-super-Mare goalkeeper Luke Purnell has a bit more riding on their match against National League leaders Wrexham today. His day job? A PE teacher at a local school.

A second-round place for the first time since 2003-04 might make for a happy return to his class on Monday.

Hitchin Town v Solihull Moors (12:45 GMT)

    Final Score

Hitchin Town manager Mark Burke told BBC Final Score:

"It's been hard work but I've really enjoyed it. As a player it's a lot easier but I hope the boys today had the experience I had 23 years ago so we'll try to get a win.

"I've said to enjoy the moment. We've got nothing to lose as underdogs. They've committed hard and put the extra shifts in and hopefully that will pay today."

    Shrewsbury v Salford (12:45 GMT)

Adam Rooney SalfordImage source, Rex Features

High-flying Salford City have enjoyed an excellent start to life in the National League. Graham Alexander's side are currently sitting pretty in third and are hoping to reach the second round for only the second time in their history.

In 2015 goals from Danny Webber and Ritchie Allen helped the Ammies to a 2-0 victory over Notts County and the Greater Manchester club will be hoping for a similar performance against League One Shrewsbury Town today.

  19. Postpublished at 12:24

    Chorley v Doncaster (12:45 GMT)

Sixth-tier Chorley may welcome the distraction of a cup tie. Jamie Vermiglio's promotion chasers hadn't lost a league match all season a couple of weeks ago, but have now lost their last three on the bounce.

The Lancashire side are still only a point off top spot in the National League North however, thanks to their impressive start to the campaign.

Their opponents, Doncaster, have also been out of form recently. Grant McCann's side are winless in their last four League One games. Is an upset on the cards at Victory Park this afternoon?

  20. A pathway to the second-HOUND?published at 12:21 Greenwich Mean Time 11 November 2018

Hitchin Town v Solihull Moors (12:45 GMT)

Most football clubs have a chap in a sweaty, thick, oversized costume as a mascot, usually loosely related to their history or name.

But not seventh-tier Southern League Premier Division Central side Hitchin Town, whose mascot is none other than Elvis the dog.

Hopefully Elvis can enjoy a treat today - a second-round place for the lowest-ranked team remaining. The last time they reached that stage was in 1995-96.
