  1. Stick or twist for Dons?published at 17:32 Greenwich Mean Time 28 October 2018

    HT: Aberdeen 0-0 Rangers

Will Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes change anything at the break? Scott Wright has been quiet in the number 10 role, striker James Wilson has barely had a touch and Rangers are finding it very easy to make ground down the Dons' left flank.

  2. Rangers falling short with final touchpublished at 17:28 Greenwich Mean Time 28 October 2018

    HT: Aberdeen 0-0 Rangers

    Willie Miller
Former Scotland defender on BBC Sportsound

    Quote Message

There's been good pressure from Rangers and the possession is really intense as well but the final ball into the box is poor. Candeias is the main guy with the opportunity to put the crosses in from the right and the quality has not been there

  3. HALF-TIME Aberdeen 0-0 Rangerspublished at 45+8 mins

Rangers have been bossing the ball but they haven't really had a clear sight of goal yet.

Aberdeen are struggling to get out of their own half but have probably had the best chance when Niall McGinn blazed a shot over.

A wayward cross from Gary Mackay-Steven also gave Rangers keeper Allan McGregor a wee fright.

  4. YELLOW CARD Ferguson (Aberdeen)published at 45+7 mins

    Aberdeen 0-0 Rangers

Rangers are flooding forward on a counter-attack and Lewis Ferguson clips the heels of Lassana Coulibably in the centre circle to bring it to a crude halt.

  5. 'Referee spot on'published at 17:21 Greenwich Mean Time 28 October 2018

    Aberdeen 0-0 Rangers

    Peter Houston
Former Scotland assistant manager on BBC Sportsound

    Quote Message

Graeme Shinnie almost gave the referee a decision to make. He's definitely got a touch. The referee's got it exactly spot on and right

  6. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 45+5 mins

    Aberdeen 0-0 Rangers

Ryan Kent goes down as Graeme Shinnie sticks out a leg. Did the Aberdeen captain gets studs on the ball? Just about...

  7. McInnes a bit uneasy?published at 17:18 Greenwich Mean Time 28 October 2018

    Aberdeen 0-0 Rangers

    Willie Miller
Former Scotland defender on BBC Sportsound

    Quote Message

The build up play at the back has been very good from Rangers, maybe not testing Aberdeen too seriously, but having plenty of the ball. Derek McInnes must be a bit uneasy that they've had so much of the ball and Aberdeen haven't managed to get close.

  8. Eight minutes of stoppage timepublished at 45 mins

    Aberdeen 0-0 Rangers

It will be a while yet before the players get their half-time oranges after that long delay for the Andrew Considine head injury.

  9. Postpublished at 43 mins

    Aberdeen 0-0 Rangers

Now Joe Lewis is down after being winded in a challenge from Umar Sadiq. No malice there, since the Rangers striker simply slipped before clattering the big goalkeeper.

  10. 'A wee bit naughty'published at 17:13 Greenwich Mean Time 28 October 2018

    Aberdeen 0-0 Rangers

    Peter Houston
Former Scotland assistant manager on Sportsound

    Quote Message

He's clearly offside but Allan McGregor runs out to Gary Mackay-Steven. A wee bit naughty throwing the elbow in there when there's no need for it

  11. Postpublished at 41 mins

    Aberdeen 0-0 Rangers

Allan McGregor and Gary Mackay-Steven are involved again as the Rangers keeper leaves something on the Aberdeen winger after play had been halted for an offside.

  12. Postpublished at 40 mins

    Aberdeen 0-0 Rangers

Rangers goalie Allan McGregor puffs his cheeks with relief after back-pedaling to tip over an awkward looping cross from Gary Mackay-Steven.

  13. Postpublished at 38 mins

    Aberdeen 0-0 Rangers

Umar Sadiq gets in behind the Aberdeen defence but his shot lacks conviction and is blocked by Michael Devlin. Rangers are getting a lot of joy with simple balls down the sides.

  14. Postpublished at 35 mins

    Aberdeen 0-0 Rangers

The game resumes after a near six-minute delay. Fans of both teams applaud as Considine is carried up the tunnel.

  15. Postpublished at 33 mins

    Aberdeen 0-0 Rangers

The medical staff are treating Andrew Considine with real caution as he his slowly strapped into the stretcher.

  16. ouch!

    Ouch!published at 30 mins

Aberdeen defender Andrew Considine is receiving lengthy treatment after a bad head knock. Max Lowe is ready to come on once the stricken player is safely put on a stretcher.

  17. Dons under pressurepublished at 16:59 Greenwich Mean Time 28 October 2018

    Aberdeen 0-0 Rangers

    Willie Miller
Former Scotland defender on BBC Sportsound

    Quote Message

They're under pressure Aberdeen; Rangers have definitely had the better of the game, they've controlled the game and it's a matter of the Aberdeen back line staying nice and firm and just hoping for an opportunity

  18. CLOSE!published at 28 mins

    Aberdeen 0-0 Rangers

That's a bit better in the shooting department as Ryan Jack strides forward against his former side and his effort skids just wide.

  19. Postpublished at 26 mins

    Aberdeen 0-0 Rangers

The adrenaline gets to Daniel Candeias who has a very ambitious pop at goal from 35 yards or so and watches it fly high and wide.

It's catching. Ryan Kent does much the same just a few moments later.

  20. Lessons on Sadiqpublished at 16:54 Greenwich Mean Time 28 October 2018

    Aberdeen 0-0 Rangers

    Willie Miller
Former Scotland defender on BBC Sportsound

    Quote Message

Aberdeen have looked a little bit rocky at the back, they're playing that flat back four, they're pushing up but there's been plenty spaces. I don't think they're picking Sadiq up, they're not aware of him enough. They know where he likes to run now, they maybe didn't before the game, but now they do - on the shoulder, in behind. Aberdeen have got to recognise where his strengths lie and rectify that.
