Oh, we have just found out why Dele Alli is not in the Spurs' squad. Left out as a precaution as he continues his comeback from a hamstring injury.

"He played from the beginning against West Ham and he's not at 100% to compete with the demands of playing three matches in six days," Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino says.

"We need to build his fitness step by step."

Wolves manager Nuno Espirito Santo is not a man who likes to shuffle his pack too often so it unsurprising to see him make just one tweak from last week's defeat at Brighton.

Ivan Cavaleiro is the man given the call, coming in to replace Adama Traore on the right side of the front three.

Young centre-back Juan Foyth makes his first Tottenham league start after impressing in the midweek Carabao Cup tie against West Ham. The Argentine replaces Davinson Sanchez, who drops to the bench.

Mauricio Pochettino makes one change as Harry Winks comes in for the injured Eric Dier, while Dele Alli misses out altogether. More on exactly why he is missing when we find that out...

"It is similar to when you play in the Champions League," Pochettino said. "But it is strange because it is on a Saturday.

"At seven o'clock, 7:30 I am normally on my sofa with my dog, Sansa, and watching the Spanish league because they start 7:45 or France because Ligue 1 starts at eight o'clock, or Italy or different games.

"It will be so strange for my dog. Not for me but my dog.

"'Where is my dad?' she is going to say. She is beautiful and I am in love with her."
