  20. 'He created something'published at 09:19 Greenwich Mean Time 29 October 2018

    Leicester City

Former Leicester City player Ian Marshall, who played for the club for four years, spoke to BBC Radio 5 live this morning.

    Quote Message

The owner, the chairman, he created something at the football club that I have never seen. These chairmen generally are slightly disassociated from the football clubs but as you have seen, the reaction today and over weekend it’s not just Leicester but the football family all over the country that have been gripped this. He was an unassuming bloke and delivered what he said he was going to deliver and ultimately the club won the Premier League title which was down to him.
