I wonder what Garry Monk is saying to his Birmingham players in the dressing room?
They didn't play too badly in that first half, before they were undone by two quickfire goals.
Dean Smith will surely be telling his Villa side to keep their heads.

If things stay the same Villa would move up to eighth and within four points of the play-offs.

Classic derby contest so far. Full of passion. Low on skill. High on effort. No quarter given. And full of errors.
In the form he’s been in, leaving Lukas Jutkiewicz alone at the far post was a basic error and he stuck the chance away to put the Blues, sorry Yellows, fans in dreamland.
But the dream didn’t last long. And now the Blues defence have given the same freedom to Jonathan Kodjia and Jack Grealish.
The City fans had earlier been chanting “Is this a Library?” at the subdued derby atmosphere. Well, it’s noisy enough now!

What a first half that was!
Lukas Jutkiewicz swept Birmingham in front, before two goals in two minutes from Jonathan Kodjia and Jack Grealish turned the match on its head.

Blues have a free-kick just outside the box on the left side.
Jack Grealish
GREALISH!!!!! Villa have turned this game around inside two minutes.
Albert Adomah bends a beautiful ball to the far post and Jack Grealish swoops to head the ball in.
Villa Park is bouncing.
Jonathan Kodjia
VILLA PARK ERUPTS! The home side are level!
Jonathan Kodjia collects Albert Adomah's cross in space and coolly slams it into the bottom corner from 12 yards.
Moments ago it could have been 2-0 to Blues - it's now 1-1. This game has come to life!

There's a blue haze over Villa Park from a pyrotechnic that was let off in the aftermath of the Birmingham goal.
Villa boss Dean Smith will be seeing red mist over his side's marking at the corner which led to Lukas Jutkiewicz's opener.
Lukas Jutkiewicz
Blues take the lead in the Second City derby and it's that man Lukas Jutkiewicz!
The big striker is left unmarked at the far post from a corner and he guides a left-foot volley in from a tight angle.
It's his 10th goal of the season.
