  2. 'It's a top finish' - Kearney on Hammill howitzerpublished at 22:29

    FT: Hibernian 2-2 St Mirren

St Mirren boss Oran Kearney tells BBC Scotland he's a little "disappointed" his team couldn't claim all three points at Easter Road.

He also had some understated praise for Adam Hammill, whose 50-yard wonder-goal fired the Paisley side ahead.

"The first HIbs goal, Kyle Magennis goes down injured and I know he's maybe half-on, half-off the pitch, but we're down to 10 men. Some of our guys were more concerned with Kyle than seeing the ball out and then seeing where Kyle's at," Kearney said.

"Adam Hammill has the vision and is happy to try that. It sat up nicely for him, but the execution is top-drawer. It's one thing seeing it and another to execute it - it's a top finish."

  3. 'I'll take it on the chin' - Holtpublished at 22:27

    FT: Kilmarnock 2-0 Livingston

Livingston manager Gary Holt accept responsibility for his side's defeat by new Premiership leaders Kilmarnock.

"I picked the team to give boys a chance and I’ll take it on the chin," he told BBC Scotland.

"We never got going and lost a really poor goal from a set play, the guy gets a free run which isn’t good. And the second comes from our free kick, how it suddenly ends up in our net is something that’s not unacceptable.

Gary Holt says his Livingston players will lick their wounds and go again at the weekend

"By then the horse has bolted and there was no point in trying to get back into it, in fairness Kilmarnock probably took their foot off the gas a bit and we got a foothold but didn’t really trouble the keeper and I feel for him, we lost two goals which should’ve been dealt with from the set play and counter-attack.

"We’ve got another game Saturday - they can lick their wounds tonight, put it to bed tomorrow and we'll go again."

  4. Hearts 'second best all night' - Wrightpublished at 22:25

    FT: St Johnstone 2-2 Hearts

St Johnstone manager Tommy Wright is adamant Hearts were lucky to get a draw against his side.

"We should have won the game," he tells BBC Scotland. "It's quite obvious we should have won the game, it's two points dropped. We totally dominated the game and they barely left a glove on us from open play.

"Decisions go for you and against you. But Craig [Levein] has had a lot to say about referees recently, but this is the game where they'll be happy to get a point because they were second best all night.

"The character of the players showed tonight and the quality of the play was good."

  5. 'It was a must win'- Millerpublished at 22:23

    FT: Dundee 4-0 Hamilton Accies

Hat-trick hero Kenny Miller has been telling BBC Scotland of his relief at Dundee's victory, just their second of the season.

"It was needed,I talked yesterday about it being a must win for us so we knew we needed to put in a performance," he said.

"Since the manager came in we're seeing a better level of performance, a better work ethic and a better understanding of what he wants. The appetite to work hard for each other, to get forward, to get back and defend, it's the team moving together.

  6. Hibs 'get a roasting' after more dropped pointspublished at 22:20

    FT: Hibernian 2-2 St Mirren

Hibernian assistant coach Garry Parker says his players got the hairdryer treatment after tonight's draw with St Mirren.

That's seven games and nearly two months without victory for the Easter Road men.

"No disrespect to St Mirren, we're at home, we should be beating them," Parker told BBC Scotland.

"We're just not playing. We're playing without a couple of players that were out there tonight not doing their jobs, not performing and letting us down.

"I'm not going to name names, they know themselves they are not contributing. So you're playing with seven, eight men. You can't do it.

"They've just had a roasting and rightly so. We've got to think of our jobs as well the way things are going. It hurts. I'm hurting. It's just not acceptable.

"Tonight, we went attacking with two wide men and for some reason, we're not doing it, they're not doing what they're asked."

  7. 'The supporters are allowed to dream' - Clarkepublished at 22:15

    FT: Kilmarnock 2-0 Livingston

Kilmarnock manager Steve Clarke: "It [topping the table] doesn’t mean anything does it? It’s only December. Nice for the supporters, they can go to their work tomorrow happy. For us it’s back to business tomorrow for a nice easy one on Saturday at Celtic Park.

"It wasn’t a classic, so I’ll probably go home and watch the Motherwell - Celtic game instead and have an early look before the weekend - the life of a football manager, eh!"

On goal scorer Greg Stewart: "He’s a top player and been really good for us since he came here, that little link between midfield and the forwards and scored a few goals as well and shows a good partnership with Brophy as well.

"He probably took a gamble coming back to Scottish football but if works out well for Greg and works out well for Kilmarnock then everyone can be happy."

  8. 'I'm getting fed up with this' - Leveinpublished at 22:09

    FT: St Johnstone 2-2 Hearts

Hearts manager Craig Levein after Matty Kennedy's late penalty denied Hearts three points against St Johnstone.

Levein tells BBC Scotland: "I've only seen it [the penalty] from three angles and, well, I'll keep my counsel on it because I'll let the media decide whether they think it's a penalty or not. Me pointing out there's been errors made doesn't make any difference.

"I thought we built on our performance on Sunday. This is a hard place to come, they're in smashing form just now, and we were the better side. To lose a goal in that way again feels very sore.

Craig Levein described the penalty as "very sore"

"The reason I'm not saying too much is sometimes your thoughts go down a road and I don't want to go down that road. It's unsavoury so I don't want to speak about it.

"We're having a tough time. I can only compliment the players for their efforts despite difficult circumstances. But I'm getting fed up with this whole thing."

  9. 'We should've won the game' - Rodgerspublished at 22:04

    FT: Motherwell 1-1 Celtic

Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers: "It's frustrating, disappointing. It was definitely two points dropped. We still should've won the game but we didn't play well.

"Even if we had won the game 1-0, I wouldn't have been overly happy with how we played.

  10. 'We deserved a point' - Robinsonpublished at 22:00

    FT: Motherwell 1-1 Celtic

Motherwell manager Stephen Robinson: "I think it's a deserved point. When you play against Celtic you've got to be disciplined and the players did what we tried to do to the letter.

"I think we deserved it and put pressure on them towards the end. We were limited in terms of what we could do in terms of our substitutions and people going off injured.

    Quote Message

Motherwell were completely ripped apart in the first half with two centre backs going off injured and that's tough to take but fair play to Stephen Robinson, he's changed his system, made sure his team are hard to beat and they've fought hard. They haven't had an awful lot of ball but when they have they've done something with it and got a goal and that's all that counts. They got that one chance they were looking for, I mean it was a half chance, let's be honest about it, but it was a terrific strike.
