  2. Menga return delights Holtpublished at 19:20

    Kilmarnock v Livingston (19:45)

Livingston manager Gary Holt says of his return to his old stomping ground: "It’s a strange feeling form me but one I’ll enjoy and hopefully a game I’ll enjoy as it’s two teams full of confidence playing the right way, trying to win a game of football."

Dolly Menga returns to Holt's Livingston side tonight after a two-match ban.

"It [Menga's return] is a massive boost for us, he gives us a wee bit of X factor – he harasses defenders, puts them under pressure, gets us up the park and is a bit unconventional as you don’t know what he’s doing sometimes so it certainly helps us.

"Dolly has been champing at the bit to get back.

"We’re in a spell of game where the players want to play every game, but you can’t keep playing the same 90 minutes when you have five games in 13 days so it’s a chance for us to give one or two a wee rest and it’s a squad game so you want to give some a chance to come in and play."

"This is a completely different game [the League Cup semi-final defeat by Aberdeen] - it's at Ibrox,

  9. The Wright Stuff...published at 19:07

    St Johnstone v Hearts (19:45)

    Tyrone Smith
    BBC Scotland at McDiarmid Park

Tonight’s Premiership visit of Hearts represents Tommy Wright’s 250th game in charge of St Johnstone.

He has plenty of cause to feel his team can celebrate that impressive landmark with a win, they’re unbeaten – and haven’t conceded a goal – in their last six games.

Contrast that with the form of Hearts. They haven’t won any of their last five league matches, a run of games which has seen them score just once.

However, the capital club are still fourth in the Premiership, two points above St Johnstone who can leapfrog them with a victory this evening.
