  1. Premiership tales of the unexpectedpublished at 22:14 Greenwich Mean Time 14 December 2018

Hearts manager Craig Levein will sure not be the only one who didn't see that one coming.

What odds would you have got on a 5-0 Livi win at kick-off, never mind on 72 minutes when the sides were locked at 0-0 with a second goalless draw between them on the horizon.

In the words of a famous Norwegian, Craig Levein, your boys took a hell of a beating.

For more of the unexpected, join us tomorrow for three more Premiership games kicking off at 15:00.

And don't forget to look out for those highlights at midnight.

James @fab_seventies: Time for Levein to go back to director of football, he is unable to inspire, lost players through injury, but he should still be able to inspire the team, every player should be ashamed, Sean Clare not good enough, who signed him, oh yeah, Levein!

  3. 'We scored goals that our play merited'published at 22:08 Greenwich Mean Time 14 December 2018

FT: Livingston 5-0 Heart of Midlothian

Livingston manager Gary Holt is pleased that his side have performed so well so soon after their last outing on Tuesday.

"You've got to take your hat off to the lads," he tells BBC Scotland. "To go again as we've asked them, to produce the energy levels - to do that for the full 90 minutes was really pleasing.

"We showed great composure at the right times, got the good goals at the right times and didn't panic when Hearts went down to 10 men.

"Our front two showed clinical precision at the right times and it's pleasing we actually got a penalty - we haven't had one this season.

"The timing of the runs of the front two, the support from behind - Pittman and Byrne were brilliant - and we scored goals that our play merited."

  6. 'We made Livi look like PSG' - Leveinpublished at 22:00 Greenwich Mean Time 14 December 2018

FT: Livingston 5-0 Heart of Midlothian

Craig Levein says he is embarrassed' with how his Hearts side responded to injuries, going down and the red card.

"I'm dumbfounded in all honesty," he tells BBC Scotland.

"Some things went against us, but that happens in a football match. We lost Clevid Dikamona through injury, then Bobby Zlamal makes a poor decision - he should have came much earlier for the ball that led to the penalty.

"Then we get Arnaud Djoum harshly sent off. There's three things happened that dented us, but I didn't expect us to fold like we did.

"I'm embarrassed in all honesty - even though we were down to 10 men, we should have done much better than that.

"We made Livi look like PSG at times."

Everyone expected Livi to go straight back down. It's been an amazing season for them. Especially at home - just one defeat all season. They had a bit of drama at the beginning of the season, a change of manager, but they've rallied from that. Gary Holt has done a magnificent job

  8. Hello Dolly!published at 21:55 Greenwich Mean Time 14 December 2018

FT: Livingston 5-0 Heart of Midlothian

Dolly Menga's goal is certainly one to watch out for when we publish the match highlights at midnight.

For us older folks, the Angola striker's run past a host of defenders brings back memories of Argentine striker Ricardo Villa's famous solo effort in Tottenham Hotspur's win over Manchester City in the FA Cup final of 1981.

  9. Livi up to fifthpublished at 21:49 Greenwich Mean Time 14 December 2018

FT: Livingston 5-0 Heart of Midlothian

What a season Livingston are having.

That excellent home form - only one defeat on their own patch this season - has certainly helped and other win in Almondvale lifts them up above St Johnstone and Aberdeen into fifth place in the Premiership.

They are now only two points behind tonight's victims, Hearts.

  10. 'An embarrassment' for Heartspublished at 21:43 Greenwich Mean Time 14 December 2018

FT: Livingston 5-0 Heart of Midlothian

    Peter Houston

Hearts collapsed. That's what will annoy Craig Levein more than anything. From 1-0 down, where there's an opportunity to get back into it, they crumbled so easily. What's happened is an embarrassment for Hearts

  11. Livi 'put Hearts to the sword'published at 21:43 Greenwich Mean Time 14 December 2018

FT: Livingston 5-0 Heart of Midlothian

    Scott McDonald
Former Celtic striker on BBC Sportsound

    Quote Message

Sometimes, after a red card, games can peter out, but Livi really put them to the sword there. You've still got to go and cut teams open. Livingston did that to great effect and showed great composure in front of goal - some really fantastic finishes there

  12. 'Massive night for Livi'published at 21:42 Greenwich Mean Time 14 December 2018

FT: Livingston 5-0 Heart of Midlothian

    Peter Houston
Former Scotland assistant manager on BBC Sportsound

    Quote Message

This is a massive night for Livingston - with their history, where they've been over the last few years, administration as well. To beat a massive club like Heart of Midlothian 5-0 - all credit to them, they've played magnificently well

  13. FULL-TIME - Livingston 5-0 Heart of Midlothianpublished at 21:36 Greenwich Mean Time 14 December 2018

Just when Hearts thought their fortunes were turning after their win over Motherwell ended a run of eight games without a win, Craig Levein's side suffer another severe body blow.

They arrived at the Tony Macaroni Arena with a chance to draw level on points with Celtic at the top of the Premiership.

Instead, they make the short journey along the M8 back to Edinburgh having been embarrassed by their Lothian neighbours.

It all fell apart when goalkeeper Zdenek Zlamal clattered Craig Halkett in the 72nd minute and the defender scored from the penalty spot.

Arnaud Djoum was sent off moments later and four more goals, two for Ryan Hardie, rubbed in the pain for Levein's side.

    Quote Message

Livingston have shown Hearts what they're missing - that pace and energy. Especially higher up the pitch, they're really lacking that real threat to go and turn teams. MacLean needs people in and around him to run off him. Levein needs a January window to strengthen that area

Djoum has let his team down tonight. Really stupid foul. You're still in the game at 1-0 with 11 men on the pitch. He makes a ridiculous foul and it just goes to pot for Hearts

The Hearts team look dejected. Craig Levein must be wondering what's going on here in the last 10 or 15 minutes because his team's getting absolutely steamrollered. Ryan Hardie has came to the picture with two magnificent strikes

    Ryan Hardie

It's Ryan Hardie again as Steven Lawless finds the striker this time and the striker clips in his second of the game.

What an eight minutes we've had at the Tony Macaroni Arena and Hearts have been well and truly floored.

This is getting embarrassing for the visitors.
