Hayes and Morgan need to inject something into this game but Celtic need more from their striker. Sometimes he (Edouard) just doesn’t do enough in games. He likes floating about but sometimes you just need that box presence.

  2. YELLOW CARD Edouard (Celtic)published at 64 mins

    Hibernian 2-0 Celtic

Odsonne Edouard takes a late tumble in the penalty box after an initial slip. Referee Don Robertson adds to the Celtic striker's misery by booking him for simulation.

Another Hibs counter-attack and it's nearly a third goal as Florian Kamberi digs out a chipped cross from the left and a sliding Daryl Horgan is not far away at the back post. Not far away at all.

    Florian Kamberi

Brilliant counter-attack... From a Celtic free kick on the edge of the home box, Hibs are suddenly motoring up the park and Sean Mackie finds Florian Kamberi with a sensational cross-field pass.

The striker takes it down on his chest, races forward and lashes a stunning shot high past Craig Gordon.

Ofir Marciano makes an awkward diving save at his near post to keep out a shot from James Forrest. It might have taken a slight deflection on the way.

  7. Postpublished at 56 mins

    Hibernian 1-0 Celtic

Sean Mackie has settled in well. The Hibs sub curls a lovely ball in from the left and it's just out of reach and Oli Shaw and Florian Kamberi.

That will do you the youngster's confidence the world of good.

  8. Postpublished at 53 mins

  12. Postpublished at 13:33 Greenwich Mean Time 16 December 2018

    HT: Hibernian 1-0 Celtic

Celtic's use of Emilio Izaguirre and Scott Sinclair as wing-backs has not really paid off. Will Brendan Rodgers make a change for the second half and go to a back four?

We'll find out in just a tick as the teams emerge from the tunnel.

  13. Slivka setback for Hibspublished at 13:28 Greenwich Mean Time 16 December 2018

    HT: Hibernian 1-0 Celtic

Bad news for Hibs. Goalscorer Vykintas Slivka is not going to make it out for the second half after that bad tackle from Scott Brown.

Sean Mackie will be the replacement. The 20-year-old is a left-back, so that might mean Lewis Stevenson pushing into midfield.

There's not a great deal of experience on the home bench today.

Hibs lead thanks to a lovely finish from Vykintas Slivka inside the first minute.

Celtic are yet to really click. They've been a bit sluggish in midfield.
