  1. Some cheer for Bolton fans?published at 15:41 Greenwich Mean Time 19 January 2019

    League Two

Forest Green Rovers are ahead against Bury, with Reece Brown opening the scoring earlier.

Not particularly notable, you might say, but Rovers have invited Bolton fans to the game against Wanderers' local rivals following the recent public spat between Dale Vince and Ken Anderson.

The question is... will they be cheering?

  2. goal

GOAL: Aston Villa 0-2 Hullpublished at 15:38 Greenwich Mean Time 19 January 2019

    Evandro Goebel (38)

Wow. Boos ring round Villa Park.

Evandro Goebel produces an acrobatic finish to double Hull's lead. What a scoreline for the Tigers.

    Nottm Forest 0-0 Bristol City

    Owen Phillips
BBC Sport at the City Ground

"Martin is back" has rung around the City Ground a couple of times and the place would have gone bananas had Joe Lolley managed to hook the home side ahead within a couple of minutes, which he nearly did.

But City have settled the better and look dangerous in attack, with Costel Pantilimon making good saves from Andreas Weimann and Callum O'Dowda.

Both sides have defensive problems, with injuries and suspensions. Maybe it will help bring us goals. Forest look nervy at the back.

  5. Pressure on leaders Pompey?published at 15:32 Greenwich Mean Time 19 January 2019

    League One

Oxford United are leading league leaders Portsmouth through Cameron Brannagan's goal.

Luton, who are currently second in the table, are now 2-0 up against Peterbrough.

    Aston Villa 0-1 Hull

Villa v HullImage source, Rex Features

That goal jumps Hull up to seventh in the as-it-stands Championship table.

There's a long way to go today still, of course, but that's astonishing from the Tigers.

They looked like strong relegation candidates barely a few weeks ago.

  7. goal

GOAL: Aston Villa 0-1 Hullpublished at 15:28 Greenwich Mean Time 19 January 2019

    Jarrod Bowen (27 mins)

Villa Park is silenced! Hull are ahead and their incredible form appears to be continuing.

Jarrod Bowen fires in low from outside the area and that's his eighth goal in six league games. That's some return!

    Nottm Forest 0-0 Bristol City

It's an entertaining game, this one. The hosts' Joe Lolley heads over the bar at one end, as Bristol City's Callum O'Dowda twice goes close at the other, and then Robins winger Josh Brownhill sees a shot blocked.

  9. goal

GOAL: Middlesbrough 0-1 Millwallpublished at 15:24 Greenwich Mean Time 19 January 2019

    Jed Wallace (22 mins)

On the counter, Millwall take the lead as Lee Gregory feeds Jed Wallace for the Lions, who finishes well.

The Boro fans are stunned by that.

  10. A seamless returnpublished at 15:23 Greenwich Mean Time 19 January 2019

    Nottm Forest 0-0 Bristol City

    Owen Phillips
BBC Sport at the City Ground

Not everyone is glad to see Martin O'Neill back in club management.

Referee Jeremy Simpson halts play to "have a word" with the Nottingham Forest boss. It didn't appear to be a particularly friendly chat.

O'Neill has hands on hips at the edge of his technical area and looks concerned. City have looked the more impressive so far.

Reading beat Forest last time out, but they've not really got going yet today.

  13. goal

GOAL: Rotherham 1-1 Brentfordpublished at 15:21 Greenwich Mean Time 19 January 2019

    Jon Taylor (20 mins)

What a hit that is from Jon Taylor!

The ball falls to the Rotherham midfielder on the edge of the box and he sends a rasping drive past Daniel Bentley to put the Millers back on level terms against Brentford.

  14. CLOSE!published at 15:19 Greenwich Mean Time 19 January 2019

The Leeds fans have been in great voice as you’d expect - and with Marcelo Bielsa booed by some Stoke supporters as the teams came out, the quick response was a blast of “We’re Leeds United, we spy when we want".

    It's still 0-0 at the Bet365 Stadium.
