This is the most entertaining game I've seen at Stamford Bridge in a long long time. Eden Hazard starts an attack inside his own six-yard box, worming his way out of the high Huddersfield press to great effect, and all of a sudden N'Golo Kante is driving into the area, but Gonzalo Higuain can't gather it in.

Leighton Baines was a doubt for today, and he's lasted until the 36-minute mark. Not a 36 minutes to remember either for the veteran Everton left-back after giving away that early penalty.

You have to be impressed with Huddersfield! Their attitude of getting at the back line and back four, there are massive gaps for Billing and Mooy to drive into, particularly with Jorginho not famed for his defending, and they are doing it relentlessly.

Well, Ashley Barnes has just been booked for simulation. The Burnley man goes down inside the area under the challenge of Southampton goalkeeper Alex McCarthy - not sure it was a dive or a penalty, a touch harsh.

Indeed, Eden Hazard leads a wonderful counter-attack at one end before Adama Diakhaby does the same at the other. He tees up Phil Billing but his shot is very well charged down by Andreas Christensen.

What a great break from Hazard, showing his pace with a longer run, which he doesn't often do. He spotted a brilliant run from Kante but it was blocked.

Palace are up to 14th in the as it stands table - if it all stayed like this they would be seven points clear of trouble.

That's a first sight of goal for Burnley. Ashley Barnes and Chris Wood combine, but the New Zealand international fires over from inside the area.

Glenn Murray wins a free-kick wide right and Brighton go close from it, Lewis Dunk beating everyone to flick a header just wide.

Danny Ings has made way for the visitors. Guessing he must be injured. Shane Long comes on for Southampton.
