It's scrappy but it's certainly determined from AFC Wimbledon. It works in West Ham's favour that they have already been here this campaign so Manuel Pellegrini knows what is required to win here.

A strange moment as West Ham's defenders switch off before Terell Thomas keeps the ball in play and tries to flick it back into the danger zone. They get away with it.

The free-kick is from the right wing but Mitchell Pinnock goes for goal himself and his powerful shot is palmed away by Adrian.

Dylan Connolly is having an excellent game so far and wins a free-kick as he runs into Angelo Ogbonna on the edge of the box.

Hopefully West Ham can defend free-kicks better than Everton.

And here is the less controversial winner.

Should this have counted? Would it have stood if VAR was in action? I guess it depends on your definition of intentional handball.

AFC Wimbledon should be ahead. A Dylan Connolly cross finds Terell Thomas, who takes a touch past a defender and then blazes over the bar unmarked inside the box.

The West Ham line-up should be good enough, with many Premier League and FA Cup appearances among them but the magic of the cup and boost in confidence it gives lower league sides is something we have already witnessed this season.
