Birmingham City manager Garry Monk was thrilled to see his side beat Nottingham Forest 2-0 at St Andrew's courtesy of goals in either half from Jota and a late Che Adams penalty.

"I’m delighted for the players and the fans.

"We knew we were coming up against a quality side - it’s built for promotion, that Forest team.

"But I thought it was a thoroughly deserved win. For the majority of the game, we were dominant and in control."
