    Norwich 1-0 Ipswich

Whether he's feeling the cold or not, Paul Lambert must have a slightly dented pride.

He won back-to-back promotions with Norwich, going from League One to the Premier League.

After leaving the Canaries for Aston Villa at the end of the 2012 season following a year in the top flight, he's had fairly mixed spells at Villa, Blackburn, Wolves and Stoke.

And now he's facing relegation back to League One with Ipswich.

    Norwich 1-0 Ipswich

One ball over the top searching for Teemu Pukki has Ipswich centre-back Matt Pennington at full stretch as he concedes a corner with a header.

The set-piece comes to nothing, no doubt to the relief of the travelling fans.

    Norwich 1-0 Ipswich

The numbers don't look great for Ipswich after falling behind in the second minute.

They have only won once away from home this season in the Championship, and have lost their past six away games in the league - scoring just one goal in the process.

And, from the 19 league games where they have fallen behind this season, they have only come back to win once.

    Ouch.

Norwich fans won't care about that, though...

    Norwich are rampant.

Right-back Max Aarons gets to the byline and finds Teemu Pukki with a cut-back, but the Finnish striker can't turn the ball on target.

The hosts have had five attempts at goal already, and there's danger of them blowing the visitors away early on.

Phillippa: Took Norwich a little longer than I expected to get a goal... Thought they'd score within 30 odd seconds.

Adam Lawrence: Fancy us (Ipswich) today, you know what they say - form book goes out o....oh wait its 1-0 already.

Still a long way to go, Adam!

Two things are almost certain at Carrow Road this afternoon...

Ipswich boss Paul Lambert will get plenty of stick from home fans on his return to Norwich - and the Scot will absolutely love it.

The ex-Stoke and Aston Villa manager has thick skin and seems to relish adversity, so you do wonder whether the narrative coming into this derby will suit him and the Tractor Boys down to a tee.
