Former Premier League striker Efan Ekoku on BBC Radio 5 Live:

Leicester have had opportunities to spring that counter attack, but so far the ball through to Jamie Vardy has just not been good enough.

Panto season in full effect as Vicarage Road rings out to chants of 'you don't know what you're doing!'

Referee Jon Moss is the man in the firing line for not giving a foul on Gerard Deulofeu but it was all a bit tame really. This game needs a shot of life. Leicester offering little at the moment.

  3. GREAT SAVE!published at 52 mins

    Watford 1-0 Leicester

Can that kickstart this half into life? A very sluggish start but fine play again from Gerard Deulofeu leads to a chance. The former Everton man dribbles in from the left and then tees up Abdoulaye Doucoure, his shot from 20+ yards is well pushed away by Kasper Schmeichel.

Troy Deeney then goes down under the challenge of Wilfred Ndidi but that's not a penalty.

No changes from Leicester at the break and the second half has started a bit slowly. Ben Foster hasn't had to make a save yet all game...

    Breaking

    Fulham v Chelsea (14:05 GMT)

Kepa is back in goal for Chelsea seven days after his PR meltdown at Wembley. Chelsea make five changes in total from the side which beat Spurs. Andreas Christensen and Emerson get rare league starts at the back.

Scott Parker makes just one change for Fulham - Ryan Sessegnon starts.

  8. Sarri needs to adaptpublished at 12:54 Greenwich Mean Time 3 March 2019

    Fulham v Chelsea (14:05 GMT)

    Jermaine Jenas
Former Tottenham midfielder on BBC Radio 5 live

I think Maurizio Sarri has finally found a formula to win football matches. They were totally different against Manchester City and Tottenham. For the players to have that 4-2-3-1 system, they are tough to break down.

Sarri is a disciplinarian, that is how he comes across. What the Premier League has taught him is that he has to adapt, does he think he can play one particular way and win the league?

  10. 'Watford are comfortable'published at 12:52 Greenwich Mean Time 3 March 2019

    Watford 1-0 Leicester

Former Premier League striker Efan Ekoku on BBC Radio 5 Live:

Watford are quite happy to contain, they are set up well to do that. This fight for the best of the rest is going to be fascinating.

Leicester have been punished for not defending set pieces well enough, Watford look the more potent going forward and are comfortable with the 1-0 lead.

    Watford 1-0 Leicester

Watford have only lost one of their last 22 home games in the Premier League when they've taken a half time lead (W17 D4), losing to Swansea in December 2017 (1-2).

  12. HALF-TIMEpublished at 12:48 Greenwich Mean Time 3 March 2019

Work for Brendan to do. Strong first half from the hosts, who are level on points with Wolves as it stands.

Brendan Rodgers is out clapping one of his players but the tempo of the game has rather stalled. Kolo Toure is his literal right-hand man this afternoon in the dugout.

  14. 'Sloppy passing'published at 12:42 Greenwich Mean Time 3 March 2019

    Watford 1-0 Leicester

Former Premier League striker Efan Ekoku on BBC Radio 5 Live:

What will disappoint Brendan Rodgers going into the half-time break is the sloppy passing, particularly from the more talented players further up the field. James Maddison and Youri Tielemans have been a little bit scruffy, and Harry Maguire needs to do better with his crossfield balls.

Another Adrian Mariappa clearance stops a flowing Leicester counter attack. Are you watching Garth?

  16. Postpublished at 38 mins

Good defending again from Adrian Mariappa, blocking away a Harvey Barnes shot as Leicester win a corner. Then a brilliant header from the same man to clear away a swerving cross!

  17. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 35 mins

    Watford 1-0 Leicester

Another one for VAR when we get it - Harry Maguire wants a penalty as his header is blocked by the arm of Adrian Mariappa. It did hit his arm, but the defender was looking the other way, not sure he could do anything about that whatsoever...

  18. Postpublished at 12:34 Greenwich Mean Time 3 March 2019

    Watford 1-0 Leicester

Former Premier League striker Efan Ekoku on BBC Radio 5 Live:

Leicester don't have any real physicality up front so they need that link up play from Tielemans and Maddison. Without control in the middle of the park it is very difficult for them.

Good four words Johnny! I wouldn't argue. Gerard Deulofeu jags in from the left wing and hits a low shot but it's always straight at Kasper Schmeichel.

Leicester have had their moments but they haven't really tested Ben Foster yet.

Johnny: Honest, attacking, entertaining & dynamic. That’s how I’d describe this Watford side. Gracia has them playing positive football in one of the most competitive leagues in the world & they're holding their own. Deulofeu & Hughes have flourished this season.
