Youri Tielemans is a class act. A double Zidane pirouette gets him out of traffic before he clips a pass out wide, 40 yards on the money. Makes the game look easy.

    Watford 1-0 Leicester

Former Premier League striker Efan Ekoku on BBC Radio 5 Live:

Watford have not been able to find Deulofeu in any space so far. He is playing closer to Troy Deeney than I thought he would, but Javi Gracia has clearly recognised his pace and thinks he can get away from those three defenders.

Fantastic pass from Etienne Capoue, switching the play beautifully out wide to Daryl Janmaat but his cross is overcooked on this occasion.

Good game this! Both sides look a threat and Abdoulaye Doucoure is close to meeting a good cross from the right as Watford counter attack with pace and intent.

This back three should get the best out of Harry Maguire - think World Cup - but he's let himself down there, floating a pass clean out of play under no pressure. Leicester having a good spell still though.

  7. CLOSE!published at 18 mins

    Watford 1-0 Leicester

That's almost brillant from Leicester. Right wing-back Ricardo Pereira floats a ball out to the left, Ben Chilwell then flashes a volley right across goal and Harvey Barnes pokes it wide. Just hit Barnes really, it came across at a right lick.

Both players are up and seem OK. That's a relief, that was some collision.

Applause rings out as Jamie Vardy sits up, while Ben Foster has got a cut on his chin. Both are being patched up. No fault to either player there, just a genuine committed challenge.

Ooooffff. Jamie Vardy is smashed into by Ben Foster as the keeper punches away the following free-kick. They are both hurt. Treatment needed.

Mariappa brings him down, Vardy is through on goal if he stays on his feet but there is the possibility of Cathcart catching up with him, although that is unlikely.

Super sharp from Jamie Vardy! He nips in to take the ball off Adrian Mariappa after a heavy touch, Vardy takes a tumble and Mariappa must be sweating...it's a booking!

Vardy went down a good 40 yards from goal but he would have run clean through there...

Better from Leicester, Harvey Barnes and James Maddison almost get into the area but Watford scramble their lines away. These very early kick-offs are sometimes guilty of being played at Sunday League pace, but not this one! Zipping along.

  15. Postpublished at 9 mins

    Watford 1-0 Leicester

This has been a brilliant start from Watford. They are so fast to everything, bossing midfield and countering with real, crisp intent. Javi Gracia is the only manager to do more than a season at Watford in the Premier League and he's really got them playing nicely.

    Watford 1-0 Leicester

It's one of those where Troy Deeney's shoulder is offside. So hard to call for a linesman though. Would VAR have ruled that out? Probably.

Anyway, Brendan Rodgers is behind very early on. He has never lost a league match (including playoffs) against any of his former clubs (P14 W9 D5 L0).

    Troy Deeney

Watford's bright start is rewarded! Troy Deeney is fuming as he works his way into the penalty area but referee Jon Moss calls it back for a foul. And then he's smiling, as Gerard Deulofeu fires in a delivery and Deeney just glances it into the net from close range.

Was he onside? It's very tight...

  19. GREAT SAVE!published at 4 mins

    Watford 0-0 Leicester

And Watford should take an early lead! Adrian Mariappa, picked by Brendan Rodgers on his managerial debut a decade ago, should put his old boss behind as Jose Holebas' free-kick lands at his feet but the defender's shot is well saved by Kasper Schmeichel!

Gerard Deulofeu has the follow-up blocked by Wes Morgan.

    Watford 0-0 Leicester

It is as expected a back three for Leicester with Harvey Barnes and James Maddison in behind Jamie Vardy. A bit narrow in attack but with wing-backs given licence to fly.

Early free-kick for the hosts in a dangerous position though.
