Cardiff skipper Sean Morrison says that the officials missed two clear penalties in the game. Never mind the offside goal and the possible red card.

    He is understandably deflated.

This is as big a smash and grab as you will see all season. Maurizio Sarri will be delighted to get three points because it didn't look like it would end this way. Victor Camarasa's first time finish was what Cardiff deserved but the turning point was the offside goal for Cesar Azpilicueta.

What's worse than a blazing row? The silent treatment.

Neil Warnock stands just in front of the officials in the centre circle and, nothing. Blanks them. Doesn't even give them any grief. Just disbelief.

lfcway: The officials have bottled it at Cardiff. Clear offside goal was allowed to stand. Plus should have been straight red for Rudiger. To Make matters worse, it's now 2-1 to Chelsea. Your luck is out when you are down at the bottom.

Glenn: Forget slice of luck, CFC have eaten the whole cake!

Mo: There is actually one profession in the UK that is performing worse than the politicians.

Stuart: Getting the popcorn out ready for Warnock's rant

Yousuf: So unfair on Cardiff that the refs are sparing Chelsea's blushes here. Sarri needs to go. He doesn't even know what he wants to achieve with this team.

Chris: I am disgusted that we have scored that goal, how can a linesman miss that he is 3 yards offside. Feel for Cardiff they deserve much more from this game.

Chelsea have not deserved this but they have kept going. Ruben Loftus-Cheek plants himself on that far post and he nods in.

    Ruben Loftus-Cheek

    Cruel, cruel sport...

Chelsea have stolen a win, absolute theft! Willian puts in a great cross, Olivier Giroud occupies the central defenders of Cardiff and sub Ruben Loftus-Cheek arrives on the scene to plant a powerful header into the bottom corner.

That could relegate Cardiff at the end of the season. You have to have sympathy with Neil Warnock and co, don't you?

Neil Warnock is absolutely steaming. Not only does he think that Chelsea should be down to 10 men, he's quite rightly fuming at that equaliser.

    How offside was Azpilicueta Neil?

'TWO @:"£#NG YARDS!' he screams at the officials time and again.

    He's right as well.

I think Craig Pawson just about gets that decision right. Toni Rudiger gets the wrong side and it's clumsy but the yellow card is correct.

    MORE CONTROVERSY!

Cardiff clear their lines and sub Kenneth Zohore is running in behind, Antonio Rudiger tangles arms with the striker and they end up on the deck as Kepa comes out to hack it clear.

Red card?! No it's a yellow and you can imagine how Neil Warnock has taken that. You're 70 Neil, sit down!

It's a bit of luck Chelsea have not deserved, they have been woeful. Cardiff don't win the first ball or the second. Cesar Azpilicueta nods in and he's about two yards offside.

  20. goal

    Cesar Azpilicueta

    CONTROVERSY.

Chelsea are level as captain Cesar Azpilicueta heads in from a corner but he's MILES offside!

Never mind VAR, that was clear as day. He was never onside, standing in front of the keeper, he's at least two yards offside as Marcos Alonso flicks it on and the right-back heads home. Chelsea are saved...
