    Pasta for breakfast?

Thanks, but I think I'll give that a swerve.

Klopp tells BT Sport: "I saw the pre-match meal at 8.30 this morning and saw all that pasta. Fortunately, I don't have to eat it. Having a pre-match meal so early...that's the only difference when it comes to kicking-off at 12."

Hands up Liverpool fans who obeyed Jurgen Klopp's instructions to get an early night ready for today's early kick-off?

    Come on now, be honest.

Klopp: "We need atmosphere at 12 o'clock. If you have a ticket for the stadium go to bed at 10 o'clock at the latest on Saturday night. Don't drink and be on your toes from the first to the last second."

Roberto Firmino is back in Liverpool's starting line-up for the first time since 24 February after recovering from injury.

Virgil van Dijk captains the team and James Milner does not feature in the 18.

Burnley name the same side that lost to Crystal Palace last week.

It's not where you start, it's where you finish." Well-known words that come from the Broadway musical Seesaw (you're humming it now, aren't you?).

It's an appropriate theme for both teams' seasons and this game too.

Liverpool: They're the chasers now, which is something Jurgen Klopp is "completely fine with". As he stated last Sunday at Everton: "Who wants to be top at the beginning of March?"

Burnley: Despite scoring first in three of the past four meetings with Liverpool, they've failed to win any. Overall, though, things have tipped their way since Christmas - two defeats from 10 games, after 13 in 19 in the first half of the season.

I think it’s an advantage that Manchester City play before Liverpool over a couple of Premier League fixtures.

You go into the situation where you know you have to capitalise. The pressure builds if City win and go four points clear.

Liverpool will say they enjoy the chase and the pressure but we all know what City can do if they are setting the target.

Man City 3-1 Watford: City will drop points in title race - Pep Guardiola

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola says his side is unlikely to win all their remaining Premier League games.

"It is almost impossible if we go ahead in all competitions not to drop points," said Guardiola after the 3-1 win over Watford.

"We have to be calm and prepare for next week [against Schalke]."

City's remaining eight top-flight matches include Tottenham (home) and Manchester United (away).

Liverpool are four points behind in the title race after Raheem Sterling's quick-fire second-half hat-trick inspired leaders Manchester City to a 3-1 win over Watford in Saturday's late game.

Yet Liverpool will replace Pep Guardiola's side at the summit - and go two points clear - if they beat Burnley today and then win at Fulham next Sunday.

That's because City are in FA Cup quarter-final action at Swansea next Saturday - and don't play in the Premier League again until 30 March because of the international break.
