  1. Postpublished at 60 mins

    Man Utd 1-0 Watford

An hour gone and Watford are showing plenty of intent. They've had 10 shots to United's three.

Gerard Deulofeu is continuing to be a menace.

  2. Postpublished at 57 mins

    Man Utd 1-0 Watford

Watford piling on the pressure. Troy Deeney battles to win the ball on the edge of the United area and it falls to Will Hughes, whose curling effort is just wide. That was close.

More deep conversations on the United bench. Concerning for United.

  3. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 55 mins

    Man Utd 1-0 Watford

'Ole's at the wheel' is winging its way around Old Trafford once more as Daryl Janmaat is replaced by Kiko Femenía. He doesn't look too happy about it.

  4. Postpublished at 54 mins

    Man Utd 1-0 Watford

Watford have had five shots on target so far, so you cannot accuse them of sitting back.

A jinking run by Gerard Deulofeu ends up with the ball finding its way back to Etienne Capoue, who fires well over from about 35 yards.

  5. Postpublished at 51 mins

    Man Utd 1-0 Watford

More Watford pressure leads to another chance. This time it's Roberto Pereyra, whose low effort is well saved by David de Gea. The start of the second half is very similar to the first.

Can Watford make their chances tell this time?

  6. Postpublished at 49 mins

    Man Utd 1-0 Watford

Good possession from Watford as they go in search of an equaliser. They have never won a league game at Old Trafford but a point would equal their best return, previously set in 1985 and 1984.

Daryl Janmaat has a chance here from the edge of the box, but his shot is fired over.

  7. Postpublished at 47 mins

    Man Utd 1-0 Watford

Watford winger Gerard Deulofeu has another shot but it lacks any power.

United, though, go down to the other end and earn a corner which comes to nothing.

All credit to Solskjaer for his tactical management. He realised we were chasing shadows in the opening 20 minutes and switched it around by bringing Mata infield and swapping to the diamond. It has changed the game.

Iain Moss: Mata has been absolutely central to Manchester United turning this game round. Martial & Matic have been passengers. Martial's reading of the game is awful!!

Richard Browne: This United team plays like Leicester’s PL winning side. Comprehensively outplayed but winning.

    Comprehensively?

  12. 'Watford were outstanding'published at 15:51 Greenwich Mean Time 30 March 2019

    Man Utd 1-0 Watford

    Dion Dublin
Ex-Aston Villa striker on BBC Final Score

For 25 minutes, Watford were outstanding. That energy, pressing and creating chances - if you don't score goals, that will fade away later on.

  13. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:49 Greenwich Mean Time 30 March 2019

    Man Utd 1-0 Watford

Ashley Young uses his nous to win a free-kick wide on the right. Looked a bit tame, to be honest.

What can United muster from this? Juan Mata fires it in, but it's cleared.

    That's the half.

  14. Postpublished at 45+2 mins

    Man Utd 1-0 Watford

Gerard Deulofeu bursts into the United area, but is crowded out. That allows United to counter again, and the Watford midfield are strolling back.

Luckily for them, Etienne Capoue bucks the trend and makes a timely interception.

Stan Stevens: Has anyone noticed Pogba's been sloppy since he changed his hair from black to shaved gold?

I'm still struggling to see how Pogba is worth 89 million. Far too hit and miss and inconsistent.

Into stoppage time and we'll have an extra three minutes.

  17. Postpublished at 44 mins

    Man Utd 1-0 Watford

Troy Deeney continues his battle with United's centre-backs and this time wins a free-kick.

Gerard Deulofeu whips it in from the left and Chris Smalling makes a great header to clear.

Watford corner, which doesn't make it past the first man. Disappointing from a Watford point of view.

  18. Postpublished at 42 mins

    Man Utd 1-0 Watford

Marcus Rashford wastes two chances to double United's lead. In the first, he drags Ben Foster way out of goal to the right but cannot find a team-mate with the goal gaping.

In the second, he jinks into the area, shapes to shoot but then passes straight to a Watford defender.

    I don't get it when striker doesn't shoot. It's a dying trend.

  19. Postpublished at 40 mins

    Man Utd 1-0 Watford

Paul Pogba is growing in influence now as he slips a pass outside to Ashley Young, but his low cross is cleared.

Up the other end, Troy Deeney is enjoying a tussle with Phil Jones, who blocks a Daryl Janmaat shot.

  20. 'A sublime ball by Shaw'published at 15:39 Greenwich Mean Time 30 March 2019

    Man Utd 1-0 Watford

    Michael Brown
Former Manchester City and Spurs midfielder on BBC Radio 5 live

The ball to Marcus Rashford is sublime, he draws Ben Foster out and then does a little flick over Foster for a wonderful goal.

This is a quality pass from Luke Shaw. Deft touch from Rashford. Brilliant from Manchester United.
