The good thing about this tournament is the different tests, you have to face good teams. You have to figure out a way of beating them.

Great play from England and Nikita Parris. So clinical in front of goal. You've got to mention the quality ball from Fran Kirby. That's where England are good. She knows where Parris is and she knows she has the pace to get in behind. It's a good touch from Parris to set herself up before she shoots.

  11. goal

GOAL - USA 1-2 Englandpublished at 52 mins

    Nikita Parris

My word! What a well-made goal from England.

A beautiful lofted ball from Fran Kirby finds the feet of Nikita Parris.

The WSL's top all-time goalscorer controls it so well and slots past the keeper.

The Lionesses are beating the world's number one side!

  12. Postpublished at 51 mins

Lovely fluid play from England. A slick Lucy Bronze through ball finds Ellen White but the tournament's top goalscorer is ruled offside.

    USA 1-1 England

Tobin Heath does so well to keep it in play on the byeline but Alex Morgan hits a really tame and loose shot which goes well over the target.

She's usually among the game changers for the USA, but Morgan's looked a bit off today.

  15. Postpublished at 47 mins

    USA 1-1 England

Phil Neville is sharing a joke with the USA goalscorer Megan Rapinoe on the touchline, as Nikita Parris halts play temporarily after a blow to the stomach.

Neville looks really comfortable in his role now. He's won eight of his 13 games in charge.

Japan have gone top of the standings after beating Brazil 3-1 earlier on. They have one win and a draw to their name.

England are second but could topple Japan depending on their result at full-time.

The Lionesses face Japan in their final match on Tuesday. The two teams will go on to meet in the group stage at the Women's World Cup in June.

C: Take a bow @stephhoughton2 that was great technique to bend the ball around the wall and an immediate equaliser and reply to US. Game on @Lionesses let's get the win now, we had to do it against Brazil.

David: Great free-kick by Steph Houghton. Kept calm and picked her spot.

Koba Fern: I know an Ex-Manchester United player would have been proud of that free kick. His name rhymes with Peckham. Amazing.
