Richard Littlewood: Through to last 16, need for improvement but well done England women.

Mr H: Well done England. Well deserved against a very, very defensive side. 3 points. Qualified out of the group. Onwards and upwards!!

I can see Fran Kirby getting a bit upset after the game. She's got her team-mates around her. It's the anniversary of her mum’s death. It would have been difficult for her. She managed it superbly. She grew with confidence and I’m glad Phil Neville left her on the pitch.

She stuck to her task. It was important not to get affected too much by emotion. Her decisions were spot on. When she made mistakes she kept going. She can be very threatening as the tournament progresses.

Here's that goal from Jodie Taylor again. A brilliant counter-attacking move from England and a pin-point cross from Beth Mead.

Is there anyone better at crossing the ball than her at the moment?

England and Arsenal midfielder Jordan Nobbs: "You look at Jodie Taylor's celebration, you see how much it means to her and the squad. It is a collective squad an they worked very hard today.

"When it comes to the World Cup, you want the best route possible. Phil Neville will want to win every game and what a great performance from Fran Kirby."

This performance was a lot better than against Scotland.

Today was about finding way of getting a result and breaking down a stubborn Argentina side and they've found a way to do that today.

They dominated the play, they were patient, it was about picking out the right pass at the right time.

Phil Neville gathers the players around him on the pitch. He points to Georgia Stanway and then to Fran Kirby and the players give a big round of applause.

Kirby is in tears on the pitch. That's how much this means to her! It's the anniversary of the death of her mother and she would want nothing more than to enjoy this moment with her.

How proud she would have been.

Phil Neville will be pleased with the result. I’m much happier with the performance. They were consistent throughout the 90 minutes. That’s what Neville has looked for. It’s what they lacked in the build-up games and against Scotland. There were sharper performances individually. Jodie Taylor was much better second half, she looked to get involved. She’s a big-game player. She was not involved in the first half but she scored to win the game.

Argentina can be really proud of their performance. It’s been a solid performance from England. But Argentina are showing the level of improvement of a lot of teams. 1-0 is a fantastic result for them.

Rachel Daly plays it through to Jodie Taylor, who had made an excellent run off the shoulder. Taylor tries to feed it into Georgia Stanway but it's blocked.

There's appeals for handball but Taylor is flagged offside anyway.
