An entertaining, if scrappy, first half at McDiarmid Park.

Heart of Midlothian 0-0 St Mirren

Great chance for St Mirren. Kyle McAllister robs Christophe Berra then canters upfield before bearing in on goal and curling it wide.

  5. HALF-TIME Livingston 1-0 Kilmarnockpublished at 15:46 Greenwich Mean Time 23 February 2019

    Jonathan Sutherland
BBC Sport Scotland at Tony Macaroni Stadium

Livingston love a set-piece and that is why they are ahead. A long throw into the box was the route to goal, the Kilmarnock defence failed to deal with it and Chris Erskine - leading the line today - turned to fire the ball home to make it 1-0 and notch his first goal for the club.

Other than that, it has been pretty even.

Kris Boyd hit the crossbar with a header for Kilmarnock, but in truth there haven’t been a tonne of chances.

A series of chances in the St Mirren box, with goalkeeper Vaclav Hladky making three saves in quick succession to prevent an own goal then deny Christophe Berra and Olly Lee before taking a sore one in a collision with Peter Haring.

Fortunately, both players are soon back to their feet to carry on.

  13. Shinnie to rescuepublished at 15:36 Greenwich Mean Time 23 February 2019

    St Johnstone 0-1 Aberdeen

A ball through sends St Johnstone's Chris Kane through on goal. Dominic Ball is there to cover, but the Englishman falls over and, but for a superb covering tackle from Graeme Shinnie, Kane would have had a free shot at goalkeeper Joe Lewis.

Referee Don Robertson had a big decision to make when Duckens Nazon was fouled by Clevid Dikamona right on the left edge of the penalty box.

He saw it just outside as the Saints players protested it was on the line. The referee gave a free-kick inches outside the box. One to watch on Sportscene.

Fortunate not to get a booking for that one, the Aberdeen captain.
