    Emma Hayes
Chelsea Women manager on BBC Radio 5 Live

Norway have got five or six players in part-time leagues and there should be a gap between the two teams, but so much is expected of this England team, and you still have to go and do it.

  4. 'Norway looked knackered'published at 22:06 British Summer Time 27 June 2019

    Norway 0-3 England

    Izzy Christiansen
    England and Lyon midfielder

Norway looked knackered and we were not. We were fresh and slick and the second goal in particular, Ellen just puts it into the back of the net without thinking about it.

That was a performance that had been stored up and it came out tonight. It showed this evening.

  5. 'Bronze is best in the world'published at 22:05 British Summer Time 27 June 2019

    FT: Norway 0-3 England

England manager Phil Neville speaking to BBC One: "We’re where we want to be. I think we’ve seen tonight Lucy Bronze is the best player in the world, without a shadow of a doubt – with her athleticism and quality. There’s no player like her in the world. I played full-back but never to that level.

"Ellen White has got the bit between her teeth. She’s a predator. You feel for Jodie Taylor. She’s chomping at the bit. We’ve got competition for places which feels good.

"We want to play them both [France and USA], I’m not bothered who we play. We’ll go to Lyon, the atmosphere and occasion will be incredible. The players have proved the bigger the occasion, the better we are. We’re having fun."

Former England striker on BBC One

Norway are a top team we made look average today. England got everything bang on down the heart of the team. England are getting better.

They were totally outclassed, it was down to the discipline. If England can play like that, they'll make any team look average

You can see Phil getting his players to do waves and thank yous to the fans. He didn’t celebrate with the goals because he knows how good his team can be.

It’s great to see England getting into the semi-final of a World Cup.

Lucy Bronze announced herself at the last World Cup and she has to deal with people knowing her game.

She showed why she is the best right-back in the world.

She loves a challenge, tell her 'you are the best, now you have to be the best player in the world' and she rises to that.

I knew Lucy would take my place in the team and I give her a huge pat on the back for that.

Phil Neville says England "want to play both of them" when asked who he would prefer to meet in the semi-final between France and the USA.

I'm assuming he means one or the other. Both teams at the same time might be a bit too hot to handle - even for Lucy Bronze!
