Josh: I think Man Utd can win this game. It's tough but the atmosphere will be cracking! Liverpool's victory at home to City last year owed a lot to the fantastic atmosphere. So that's why I'm confident United will win or draw against City! (Liverpool fan)

Body language tells you a lot about a team, and from watching Manchester United for the first five minutes against Everton, it was obvious what kind of performance we were going to see from them.

United have got a lot of talented players but, right from the start of Sunday's embarrassing 4-0 defeat, they showed no heart, no desire and no will to win. They were woeful.

Everyone was guilty. Even Marcus Rashford, who has got one of the best attitudes of anyone at the club, got sucked in by what I would describe as a vacuum of negativity.

It was the kind of half-hearted display you might expect to see right at the end of the season from a team that have not had a great time of things and do not have anything to play for.

That was not the case with United, because a top-four place was on the table, but there was so little intensity from them. I did not see the work ethic you would expect from a team fighting to be in the Champions League next year.

Wolves head coach Nuno Espirito Santo: "When we look at Arsenal, we know they are a very strong team with good players and a good manager and it's a tough challenge, but we are ready for it. The strength of Arsenal is their team, the movements, the ideas they have. They are very good."

Arsenal head coach Unai Emery on the chances of his side securing a top four finish: "We have it in our hands. At the beginning of the season, after winter, we struggled in the table. We were in a worse position than we are now.

"Wednesday night is a big moment, match and challenge for us. We are playing away at a team that feels strong with their supporters. It's a good moment to try to do all we can, with intelligence."

Robin: As a United fan of course I want us to win tonight. Any other attitude is unthinkable. However, I am mighty pleased that regardless we will almost certainly lose. My honour intact and Liverpool can cancel that open top bus!

Tom: Definitely mixed feelings about today's match. You've pretty much spelled it out, and I try to remain optimistic about anything but a draw. If we lose, as I suspect we will in stunning fashion, I'll still feel buoyant about sticking it to Liverpool. It's really all you have left to hope for as a United fan this season!

Jeff: Oh, to simultaneously sink the Citizens and have Liverpool know that the Red Devils won their title for them...that's what derby dreams are made of.

Elsewhere in Europe, Barcelona could win La Liga tonight without playing if Atletico Madrid lose to Valencia.

But that game is currently 1-1. Alvaro Morata put Atleti ahead but Kevin Gameiro has equalised.

Man Utd v Man City (20:00 BST)

    BBC Radio 5 Live

Former Manchester City striker Shaun Goater on BBC Radio 5 Live: "Many foreign managers have come to England and played good football but none to the level of Pep Guardiola.

"Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is a quality manager, he’s earned his stripes at United and then overseas in his home country Norway.

"He had done well, he’s come to United and done extremely well and I believe it was right to give him a contract. I would have given him a year and dangled the carrot of two or three years in addition after the year.

"He’ll do well because he’s student of the game and he seems to have the ear of Sir Alex Ferguson and I’m sure he’ll do it his way as well as adopting some of the practices of Sir Alex."

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola is an early starter. He is already in his seat in the Old Trafford technical area having discussions with members of his back up team.

This is the night that could have a decisive bearing on the title race - and a night when Liverpool fans will be doing the unthinkable and wishing Manchester United well.

If Manchester United avoid defeat, Liverpool can claim their first title in 29 years by winning their last three games.

Manchester City, though, still have their fate in their hands and will go back to the top with victory.

  11. 'Will this even be City's biggest test?'published at 19:13 British Summer Time 24 April 2019

Man Utd v Man City (20:00 BST)

    Guy Mowbray
    Match of the Day commentator

This is the one. That's what we're told, and that's what we'll hear from The Stone Roses before kick-off.

Is it though? Is it the toughest test left for City? Because after seeing United at Everton, City's next games at Burnley and against Leicester might prove more difficult.

You can be (almost) sure that United will be improved from Sunday. They have to be - matching the spirit of last April's second half at the Etihad which prevented their neighbours winning the title "on their watch".

Last year was a cruise, but City's first two Premier League titles required them to win their final six and five games respectively. This year they may have to win FOURTEEN in a row! Now for 11…

If Pep Guardiola's team win their remaining games, they will become the first club to retain the Premier League title since rivals United did so in 2009.

Even if they are pipped by Liverpool, City can still set a new record points haul for a reigning Premier League champion.

Saturday's 1-0 win against Tottenham lifted them to 86 points.

The biggest ever points haul by the reigning Premier League title holders is 92, set by United in the 42-game season of 1993-94.

If City maintain their current points-per-game ratio of 2.53, they will end the season on 96 - just four shy of their record-breaking 100-point tally from the 2017-18 season.

Liverpool's 2-0 win at Cardiff on Sunday lifted them back above Guardiola's team and on to 88 points - their best ever total in a Premier League season.

Adjusting to three points for a win, Liverpool have only earned more in a top-flight campaign in 1978-79 (98) and 1987-88 (90).

Duncan Alexander of Opta has looked at the stats of Manchester City's current team against Manchester United's 1999 side.

City have (maybe surprisingly) conceded fewer goals than United that season - but their defenders have assisted fewer goals.

While City's frontline feels more fluid, they have actually relied heavily on Raheem Sterling and Sergio Aguero goals, whereas United had four first-team-quality strikers sharing the load.

The piece also compares the different styles of goalkeeping and the midfields.

Wayne: As a United supporter, I would prefer Liverpool to win the title. To be honest, I wish United had got Klopp when he was available. The days of the big rivalry between United and Liverpool only exist when they play each other. City, on the other hand, are only amateurs when it comes to winning titles.

Casey: Happy to lose. A year away from Europe to rebuild and strengthen the squad will do us (Manchester United) the world of good. I definitely wouldn't want to be the player who scores United's winner and hands it to Liverpool.

Paul: As a United fan I don't care who wins the title. I just want to see our players show some heart, passion and pride in the shirt tonight, even if we lose. Most of the squad have 4 games left to prove they deserve a place at this club.
