I think Pep Guardiola is a genius and they are dominant. They way he has come to Man Utd and dismantled them is amazing.

It's amazing that Liverpool could end this season without winning the league and having only lost just one game.

Manchester City

Here's Pep Guardiola's interview with BBC Sport: "We play with a lot of pressure. They were play for Champions League qualification. After their 4-0 defeat by Everton, we knew their players would be committed.

"We lost some balls in the middle of the pitch in the first half and they had counter attacks. We did well to win the game in the second half. Fortunately we made an incredible second half."

Could Fernandinho have played on?

"Maybe but he had a problem at half-time in both legs. When he went down we made the change. I thought of putting Leroy Sane in - left foot on the left and right foot on the right. He helped us a lot.

"We increased the level for the Premier League last season with 100 points. That’s the level. Liverpool are chasing. What they have done is incredible but it’s in our hands. Going to Burnley will be tough and trying to play our game.

"Thank you [to the fans] for support in the last two games. Our supporters are amazing away. I feel it more away than at home sometimes. The players deserve that."

Manchester City

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola speaking to Sky Sports: "I understand the pressure we have and obviously here at Old Trafford with Marcus Rashford and Jesse Lingard running behind. I told them we needed to play to win, it doesn't matter if we concede.

"Now we go to Burnley and we know how tough it will be. It's important to be calm. We are still not champions with three games left - it's incredible with the points we have and Liverpool have.

"I told the players don't read tomorrow, don't watch the television, just rest and sleep a lot and go in there against Burnley.

"We knew without Romelu Lukaku they would try more run in behind. The chances we lost came from us losing simple balls in the middle and we changed things in the second half, with Ilkay Gundogan in the middle and with Leroy Sane on we were more dynamic.

"Both teams deserve the title. But it can be just one. The team that is going to lose can't have regrets because they have given everything. Normally with this kind of victory you can it enjoy it the most but we have to be calm."

Manchester City goalscorer Leroy Sane to BBC Sport: "It was a difficult game. The first half we had problems but in the end we did it well. We were patient and played our game.

"Pep Guardiola always tries to help us to see what we did not so good, as well as what we did good, showing us examples [at half-time].

"In every game if you sit on the bench you hope to come on. Especially in the derby. I was waiting and hoping.

"When Raheem passed the ball I knew I had to react quickly.

"We just try to enjoy and work hard and focus on us. It’s in our hands."

Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany speaking to Sky Sports: "We didn’t start as well as we’d have liked it but that can happen.

"We defended well when we needed to and in the second half we got into our rhythm. In the second half we were there to score goals.

"It’s significant because it’s a derby. In the league, nothing is played out yet. Burnley is a difficult away game next and there is plenty to play for both for us and Liverpool. We will deal with the other games in the next days.

"We need three wins. We cannot expect the opponent to drop points. We'll get back into our routine and if everyone does the right thing and this team prepares well we always have a big chance to produce a good performance."

Arsenal

Arsenal manager Unai Emery told BBC Sport: "We knew before the match that it was going to be difficult because all season Wolverhampton are feeling strong, defensively they are a good team and offensively they have very fast players. Their organisation was very good and to break this was going to be difficult.

"In the first 25 minutes we started very well, controlled the possession but did not have many chances to score.

"We spoke in the dressing room at half-time and we tried to see it as a new match and in the second half we changed our performance and scored a goal. We can be frustrated but the Premier League is about being consistent over 38 matches.

"Today we're disappointed but we need to remember how we were three months ago. We can be optimistic and recover for the top four."

These Manchester United players are good players and it should be a privilege to play for this club, but some of the performances of those players were pathetic and embarrassing.

Man City play Leicester at home on Monday, 6 May.

Bayern Munich beat Werder Bremen 3-2 to set up a German Cup final with RB Leipzig. Robert Lewandowski scored twice for the Bavarians.

Lazio will play Atalanta or Fiorentina in the Italian Cup final after beating AC Milan 1-0 thanks to Joaquin Correa's goal.

Wolves

Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo told BBC Sport: "It was very good, especially in the first half, but we conceded too much possession in the second.

"Arsenal have quality. They move the ball and keep it well and it's hard to recover it. But until we conceded the goal we did not concede many chances.

"It was very good in the first half, very compact."

City fans have stayed in the away end celebrating unsurprisingly. A very professional win from them tonight, controlled but not explosive.

The rest of the ground is pretty empty now.

That second half was emphatic for Man City as Man Utd were embarrassed. They defended well in the first half but they were never really a threat. City were dominant and Man Utd are miles behind.

Alexis Sanchez had one touch - in injury time - after coming on in the 83rd minute. Wonder how disappointed City are that he chose United instead of them...
