    Speaking before the substitution

That is the beauty of Fernandinho. If he notices the centre-halves are out of position, he will fill in and win the ball. It's a great challenge on Paul Pogba but his studs seem to get stuck in the ground a little bit.

Leroy Sane is eating/drinking some energy gel on the touchline while looking at a tablet. I suspect he's coming on. Presumably not for Fernandinho.

    Man Utd 0-0 Man City

Uh oh, City midfielder Fernandinho is down and needs treatment. He hurt himself while stopping Paul Pogba, think his knee jarred while tackling the Frenchman.

Marcus Rashford finds Paul Pogba in the box, could this be a big chance for United? No because an expert tackle from Fernandinho takes the ball off the World Cup winner.

    Wolves 3-0 Arsenal

The last time Arsenal lost a top-flight match against promoted opposition by a three-goal margin was a 3-0 defeat at Oxford United on 5 May 1986.

Have I just used that fact because I am an Oxford fan? Yes, yes I have.

  11. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:02 British Summer Time 24 April 2019

  12. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 21:00 British Summer Time 24 April 2019

    Wolves 3-0 Arsenal

Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette goes to ground theatrically but the referee deems Ryan Bennett didn't foul him. It was a nudge on the back, albeit not enough to go down like that.

I know it's a cliche but you've seen them given.

    Wolves 3-0 Arsenal

Wolves almost have a chance for a fourth goal. Raul Jimenez speeds away down the right and squares for the practically unmarked Diogo Jota, who just misjudges the flight of the ball. If he'd controlled that, he'd have scored.

    Robbie Savage

Man Utd are doing well defensively and it's the least threat I've seen from City all season, but I would like to see more from them if I was a United fan.

Manchester United's players were criticised for not putting a shift in at Everton on Sunday, covering about 4km less than their opponents in the first 45 minutes.

No such issues tonight it seems.

United players cumulatively covered 57.20km in that first half while City players covered a total of 56.55km.

Manchester City had a couple of opportunities at the end of that first half but either over-did or were not quite clinical enough.

All to play for but so far so good... for Liverpool.
