The last time Arsenal lost a top-flight match against promoted opposition by a three-goal margin was a 3-0 defeat at Oxford United on 5 May 1986.

Have I just used that fact because I am an Oxford fan? Yes, yes I have.

Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette goes to ground theatrically but the referee deems Ryan Bennett didn't foul him. It was a nudge on the back, albeit not enough to go down like that.

I know it's a cliche but you've seen them given.

Wolves almost have a chance for a fourth goal. Raul Jimenez speeds away down the right and squares for the practically unmarked Diogo Jota, who just misjudges the flight of the ball. If he'd controlled that, he'd have scored.

Man Utd are doing well defensively and it's the least threat I've seen from City all season, but I would like to see more from them if I was a United fan.

Who's impressed you for Manchester United and City in that first half?

Manchester United's players were criticised for not putting a shift in at Everton on Sunday, covering about 4km less than their opponents in the first 45 minutes.

No such issues tonight it seems.

United players cumulatively covered 57.20km in that first half while City players covered a total of 56.55km.

If this game does finish goalless, then Liverpool are three wins from a first English league title since 1990.

Manchester City had a couple of opportunities at the end of that first half but either over-did or were not quite clinical enough.

All to play for but so far so good... for Liverpool.
