Jesse Lingard wins the ball but his follow through catches Ilkay Gundogan on the calf. I'm not sure there is much in that. I think it's a good tackle.

Joe: Can't see many Twitter 'experts' talking about Chelsea and Arsenal bottling it. The sheep think it's only Spurs who lose critical games.

Ash: Ole has a midfield that tracks back and presses but can’t string 2 passes together.

Was this the chance City have been waiting for? It's a great move. David Silva plays the ball to Sergio Aguero finds Raheem Sterling. He dances past three defenders and gets a low shot in. David de Gea saves, but almost spills. Aguero is ready to pounce but the keeper recovers to get a proper hold on the ball.

Man City have created hardly anything and you have to give credit to Man Utd.

This game has been pretty low quality so far really. Andreas Pereira now takes a heavy touch and loses the ball. United win it back though and Paul Pogba glides past Ilkay Gundogan and wins a free-kick.

Man Utd have done well not to be losing after Everton took them apart. Marcus Rashford looks a real threat and they have limited City to one strike from distance. The disappointing thing is the atmosphere and it is very quiet inside Old Trafford.

I have just seen Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola rubbing the top of his head with both hands. He is clearly living every moment of this match. I get the impression he feels his side should have done a little bit more with the possession they have enjoyed in this first half.
