Marcos Rojo has clattered both Gonzalo Higuain and Willian in the same move. He could have got a yellow card for each challenge. Just the one booking, but two pretty ropey challenges. Willian is hobbling.

Manchester United haven't had an effort on goal for more than 20 minutes. Old Trafford, deafening in the first half, is nervous. Alexis Sanchez, wearing an awful moustache, battles for the ball in the Chelsea box, then knocks it out of play.

It's been such a disrupted second half, which has suited Chelsea.

United need to win this game to have any chance at all of finishing in the Champions League places - but so far you wouldn't think that.

They need to show intensity, there's a place in the Champions League at stake.
