  3. All about 'respect'published at 14:57

    Kilmarnock v Motherwell (15:00)

Motherwell chief exec Allan Burrows told Sportsound about the club's decision to reimburse fans' vouchers issued for today's game

"From a spectators' point of view, watching the second half of the other night’s game was untenable. The ref made the correct call.

"Under the SPFL standard terms and conditions, if the match is abandoned during the first half then the home club are duty bound to give any spectator a free entry to the next game. Because the half time whistle had blown all bets were off and the home club has the ability to decide on whichever policy they want to have.

"We’ve agreed to do this [reimburse the vouchers] whilst respectful of Kilmarnock’s decision but not that many fans have taken it up."

  4. Kearney fighting with himself over McAllisterpublished at 14:55

    St Mirren v Livingston (15:00)

St Mirren boss Oran Kearney is reluctant to rest Kyle McAllister but doesn't want to risk a key player in his side's relegation battle.

"We've made decent progress in the last few weeks," he tells BBC Sportsound. "The performance is starting to look more like something that is acceptable. It's important we hit that same level today.

"We need as many minutes out of Kyle as possible over the next 11 games, so I'm trying to protect him. He's probably played more football in the last month than he has in a long time. I'm fighting with myself not to start him. It took him a while to recover from the aches and pains from last Saturday."

Lennon left Hibs in January, returning for a second spell at Celtic after Brendan Rodgers departed for Leicester.

His exit from Easter Road came after he was suspended following an exchange between himself and club employees.

"It's not about me. There might be a few sub-plots with me going back but it's not the major issue," he said.

"The major issue is for me to help negotiate a very difficult cup tie."

Livingston manager Gary Holt: "The players got the reward they deserved against Kilmarnock. The games before, we'd been in them and that wee bit of luck, that rub of the green, has gone against us. Performance-wise we've been good but the results have not gone for us.

"I look at areas where we can get at St Mirren because we focus on us first and foremost. It's about what we are good at, how we hurt teams."

On a first start for Ciaron Brown, Holt says the defender is "a big lump of a boy, with a great left foot on him".

    Kilmarnock v Motherwell (15:00)

Kilmarnock manager Steve Clarke told Sportsound that his team need to step up their game.

"I felt by the end of the first half Motherwell had better control of the game and we’ve tried to confront that with our line-up today."

"We haven’t won a game since January. Ultimately we’re judged on points and we have not got enough from our league matches. I’m only looking to today’s game and if we get three points, I’ll be happy.

    Quote Message

Brendan Rodgers has gone to Leicester to jump to the next level. The only way he'll do that is to do well with a mid-level club like Leicester to get one of those top six clubs in England. Although we all play it down, it will also treble your wages. I do believe he's gone to get back to a club like Liverpool.

Clubs don’t want to pay big money for managers. For Celtic to get £5/6/7m is great money for a manager. Celtic are a global club but the bottom line is cash: Leicester spent £102m in the last transfer window. Money talks.

Brendan Rodgers was seen by the Celtic support as one of them. It was almost like a jilted lover. A vast majority of the Celtic support were blindsided by him going so quickly. It’s very raw. He doesn’t help himself with the language he used when joining Leicester.

Two changes to the St Mirren starting XI that took a point from Tynecastle. Captain Stephen McGinn returns from injury to take over from the suspended Greg Tansey and Danish winger Anders Dreyer is preferred to Kyle McAllister, who drops to the bench.

For Livingston, just the one enforced change from the team that beat Kilmarnock. Ricki Lamie misses out with a hamstring injury and Ciaron Brown, the on-loan Cardiff defender, replaces him.

Rafa de Vita is on the bench for Livi. He hasn't featured because of injury since May 2018.

    Quote Message

Celtic have probably been very lucky that Neil Lennon was available. Otherwise, they would be in a situation where John Kennedy or whoever had to take over. I hate it with a passion when I see people kissing the jersey; coming to the club and kissing the jersey. I don't like the idea of lapping round and clapping the fans, building them up into a frenzy. And the fans were built up to a frenzy.
