    Preston 0-0 Bristol City

North End are unbeaten in their past 11 league games against Bristol City, winning each of the past six.

And the hosts are in good from in recent weeks, too.

This could be a very forensic test of Bristol City's play-off credentials.

    Swansea v Bolton (15:00 GMT)

While Swansea have been meandering in mid-table, Bolton come into this match in a precarious position, second-from-bottom of the Championship and four points adrift of safety.

Their circumstances are even worse off the field, with playing and non-playing staff not paid in February, a proposed takeover of the club taking longer than expected and Greater Manchester Police in negotiations with them over money owed for policing matches.

Manager Phil Parkinson has spoken of his frustration about such issues, an unhelpful distraction as the season enters its final quarter.

However, within your local area, you can of course listen in on your radio itself, on FM, AM or perhaps even DAB, if you're one of the cool kids. Get that wireless out.

    League Two fixtures

Lincoln City boss Danny Cowley said he thinks that the "expectations" on his team are having an adverse impact on their performances.

The Imps are three points clear at the top of League Two but have drawn four of their past five games.

They travel to play-off hopefuls Forest Green today, while second-placed Bury host lowly Macclesfield and third-placed Mansfield welcome Cheltenham to Field Mill.

At the bottom there's a huge game between bottom side Notts County and 22nd-placed Port Vale.

David Hopkin left Bradford City after 35 matches in charge on Monday

It's been a difficult season for Bradford City.

The Bantams started the campaign under rookie boss Michael Collins but after just two wins in their first six league games sacked him and replaced him with David Hopkin.

After a tricky start Hopkin looked to have the club going in the right direction but after a run of four games without a win, including a 3-2 defeat at fellow strugglers Walsall on Saturday, he resigned on Monday.

However, the Valley Parade side are three points adrift of safety and visit a floundering Portsmouth today. The Fratton Park side might have reached the Checkatrade Trophy final on Tuesday but are without a win in the league since 1 January.

Elsewhere, leaders Luton host lowly Rochdale looking to increase their lead at the top after Barnsley beat Southend earlier and Plymouth make the short 804-mile round-trip to face Sunderland.

Here are all the League One fixtures, with all games kicking off at 15:00 GMT:

    • Accrington v Coventry
    • Bristol Rovers v Blackpool
    • Burton v Walsall
    • Doncaster v Charlton
    • Fleetwood v Gillingham
    • Luton v Rochdale

  8. Buoyant Boro visit Wiganpublished at 14:46 Greenwich Mean Time 2 March 2019

    Wigan v Middlesbrough (15:00 GMT)

Fifth-placed Middlesbrough will bid for a third straight win - and a third consecutive clean sheet - away to Wigan this afternoon.

The Latics are on a run of three draws in a row and begin the day five points clear of the relegation zone.

Boro are unchanged, while Wigan bring in Cedric Kipre and Nathan Byrne.

  9. Swans look to add to Wanderers woespublished at 14:44 Greenwich Mean Time 2 March 2019

    Swansea v Bolton (15:00 GMT)

    Daniel JamesImage source, Rex Features

Swansea have welcomed veteran duo Nathan Dyer and Wayne Routledge back in to their side today, joining youngster Daniel James in their attacking midfield setup.

Beleaguered visitors Bolton - who start the day four points from safety - have won just once in the league since Boxing Day and really need a result.

  10. Struggling Millers in need of pointspublished at 14:41 Greenwich Mean Time 2 March 2019

    Rotherham v Blackburn (15:00 GMT)

If Rotherham are to stay up this season, you could say these are the sort of home games they'll probably need to get something from.

They welcome 15th-placed Blackburn, without a win since January, to the New York Stadium this afternoon.

But the Lancashire club, who sit nine points below the top six, will want to return to winning ways here.

Preston v Bristol City (15:00 GMT)

After winning nine consecutive league and cup games and seemingly flying, Bristol City suddenly find themselves on a run of three defeats in a row.

Looking to halt that mini-blip and stay in the top six, they're at Preston today, facing a North End side in fine form, unbeaten in the league since New Year's Day.

The hosts are without suspended midfielder Ben Pearson.

  12. Flying Forest face poor Potterspublished at 14:37 Greenwich Mean Time 2 March 2019

    Stoke v Forest (15:00 GMT)

Nottingham Forest's confidence is high after Monday's win over their local rivals Derby and they could move in to the top six today, if they win and multiple other results go their way.

They face Stoke, who are now mathematically closer to the relegation zone than they are to the play-off places.

The Potters make three changes, with Benik Afobe, Bojan Krkic and Ryan Shawcross all coming in.

  13. Cup heroes Millwall in need of pointspublished at 14:32 Greenwich Mean Time 2 March 2019

    Millwall v Norwich (15:00 GMT)

    MillwallImage source, Rex Features

So far in 2019 FA Cup quarter-finalists Millwall have won more games in the FA Cup, three, than they have in the league, two.

The Lions start today's games four points above the relegation zone but boss Neil Harris will want them to have more wins to their name before they host Brighton for a place in the last four in two weeks.

Norwich striker Teemu Pukki will be looking to add to his 23 goals and seven assists so far this season.

The flying Finn drew a blank in the 3-2 win over Bristol City, ending a run of scoring in six successive games.

The Lions make four changes from the defeat at Hull City, while Norwich are unchanged.

  14. Triumphant 10-man Tykespublished at 14:30 Greenwich Mean Time 2 March 2019

    FT: Southend 0-3 Barnsley

Barnsley might have had to play 55 minutes with 10 men but they have made light work of their trip to Southend.

The South Yorkshire side lost young forward Jacob Brown to a straight red when the game was goalless but second-half goals from Cameron McGeehan, Cauley Woodrow and Jordan Green gave them a comfortable win.

The Tykes remain second but are now five points clear of third-placed Sunderland.

  15. Now or never for lowly Ipswich?published at 14:28 Greenwich Mean Time 2 March 2019

    Ipswich v Reading (15:00 GMT)

It says something that Ipswich have won only three times all season but a fourth today could see them end the day just six points adrift of safety.

It's hard to imagine they'll have many better chances between now and May to pick up a win, with today's visitors to Portman Road only out of the relegation zone themselves on goal difference.

Reading boss Jose Gomes has said the next two games are "hugely important" for the Royals as they bid to avoid relegation to the third tier.

The hosts bring back experienced defender James Collins, while the visitors are unchanged.

  16. Tigers and Blues eye play-off spotpublished at 14:24 Greenwich Mean Time 2 March 2019

    Hull v Birmingham (15:00 GMT)

    Marc PughImage source, Rex Features

Hull City's season has completely turned around since their 3-3 draw at Birmingham in November.

The Tigers ended that day in the relegation zone with a battle against the drop seemingly on the cards.

However, a run of six wins from their past seven home games has helped lift them to just six points outside the play-off places.

Blues also started the season unfancied and are just three points off the top six after a 2-1 win at Bristol City on Tuesday.

They give midfielder David Davis his first league start since last May after he fractured his ankle in pre-season.

  17. Rangers look to end long wait for Bees doublepublished at 14:20 Greenwich Mean Time 2 March 2019

    Brentford v QPR (15:00 GMT)

    Luke FreemanImage source, Rex Features

QPR managed to break a sequence of seven successive league defeats with victory over high-flying Leeds on Tuesday.

They're looking to end a far longer run against their west London rivals today.

The R's are looking to do a league double over the Bees for the first time since 1961-62.

Brentford might be in indifferent form themselves but they have won their past six games at Griffin Park.

The hosts make two changes from their loss at Sheffield Wednesday in midweek.

  18. Grealish returns for struggling Villapublished at 14:16 Greenwich Mean Time 2 March 2019

Aston Villa v Derby (15:00 GMT)

    Jack GrealishImage source, Getty Images

As the season heads into the final two months it's fair to say Aston Villa are needing something of a miracle to be involved in the play-offs.

The Villans have won just two their past 14 matches and are eight points outside the top six.

Influential playmaker Jack Grealish returns and is named captain after three months out and they will need him to be back at his best if they're to keep their season alive.

Meanwhile, Derby boss Frank Lampard admitted his side's "quality was down" after they lost to rivals Nottingham Forest on Monday.

The Rams, who make six changes, are only two points outside the play-off places but have claimed just 14 points in their past 12 matches.

  19. 10-man Tykes lead Shrimperspublished at 14:12 Greenwich Mean Time 2 March 2019

    Southend 0-2 Barnsley

    Jacob BrownImage source, Rex Features

We might have only just kicked off here but they're heading into the final 10 minutes at Roots Hall.

The visitors have been down to 10 men since the 35th minutes after forward Jacob Brown was sent off.

However, they've made light of their man disadvantage and lead 2-0 thanks to goals from Cameron McGeehan and Cauley Woodrow.
